Our "Brass Bell" is the coziest beach house on Higgins Lake - the perfect lakefront retreat in Up North Michigan. We are the cabin that is directly on the lake, you can walk down to the steps and onto the beach. We have the cleanest cabins, with the absolute best views on Higgins Lake!

This lakefront cabin is located on Higgins Lake in Michigan - Higgins Lake was voted the #1 Lake in Michigan for Clarity and Beauty and the #6 most beautiful lake in the world! This rental is a one bedroom getaway that sleeps up to four people and has one full bathroom. The fully-equipped kitchen features a microwave, coffee maker, utensils, and dishware. The comfortable living area features cozy sofas, cable TV, and a DVD player.

Outside, guests will find a nice deck with furniture, perfect for unwinding and watching the sunset over the lake and trees. Guests will also find a natural gas BBQ grill – this is a high-quality grill that will suit all your BBQ needs. There is also a large firepit with chairs to enjoy nightly campfires and S'mores.

This rental is furnished with cozy and comfortable furniture to ensure a lovely vacation stay for all to enjoy. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with all the necessities needed for an enjoyable stay, including a dining table for the whole group to sit around.

In the living area, there is a cable TV with a DVD player. Outside, renters will find a natural gas BBQ grill and a fire pit. We also have kayaks and a canoe available for your use completely free of charge, and shared with other renters. Please bring life vests if you plan to use the watercraft. You can launch your boat or pontoon nearby at either the Public access or also at the North Higgins Lake State Park. Both are within 2 miles from our cabins.

This gorgeous site is in Roscommon, Michigan, and is surrounded by nature and woodland. Lake Higgins is right on the site's doorstep and is known for its deep and clear water that is perfect for fishing and swimming. Higgins Lake State Park is just a few minutes from the rental and is the ideal place for guests to explore the surrounding area. The Silver Dollar Restaurant/Bar is a short walk from the property if you'd like to "hit the town" for some food and drinks and not worry about driving.

While in Roscommon, guests are encouraged to visit the different sights on offer, including the Civilian Conservation Corps Museum, the Cross Country Ski Headquarters, and Campbell's Canoe Livery, where guests can rent kayaks and take them out on the lake for a fun day on the water or a fun float down the AuSable River. Roscommon Zoo is another great attraction and is ideal for a family trip for all to enjoy, especially the kids. Hartwick Pines State Park in Grayling is a must see for everyone!

Houghton Lake is less than 20 minutes from the rental and offers plenty more fishing and swimming opportunities for guests to enjoy. South Higgins State Park is another great park for guests to explore and is located right on Higgins Lake. Huron-Manistee National Forest is roughly two hours away and is perfect for those looking for bigger and more challenging hiking trails, while they can retreat the comfort of their lakefront rental in the evenings. Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petosky, and Gaylord are all about an hour or so from the cabin and have awesome shopping, dining and activites to enjoy! Grayling and Roscommon are fun towns to visit and only a 15 min drive.
Fall is also a gorgeous time to visit Higgins Lake with all the colorful leaves in full array!
