“This little house is cute, and has some charm. There is plenty of space for 4 people for your trip, and for quick breakfasts and lunches it has everything you need kitchen wise. It is in excellent walking distance to the downtown and it feels very safe in the area. The house could definitely stand to get a few updates and the main issue is the cleaning. It smells musty when you first walk in. While main surfaces were clean, things like the fans and the tops of doors were absolutely caked in...

“The Lakeview Lodge was just what we needed for a weekend birthday celebration with a large family group. We needed the large number of bedrooms, and having adequate space on both the main level and lower level was important, since we had cool weather and much of our time was spent indoors. The owner was very accommodating and we had no problems checking in or out. Everyone had a great time.”

“Check in was very easy, I was given a code to a lockbox. I overpacked assuming it would be a little more rustic, turns out it has all the comfort and conveniences of home. Cottage, grounds, and hot tub were clean and inviting. We were there very early spring before the leaves grew on the trees and the view was incredible! There’s a nice hiking trail a mile down the road, and water access directly across the street. This place exceeded my expectations all around! Book it!”
