“This place is such a gem. Host was super friendly and well organised with check in etc. We stayed in the white room, which as with all the rooms had loads of great design features. The common areas of dining room and living area are great if travelling with children (as we were) location was great just off Kloof street with loads of bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.”

“Beautiful property facing the Fynbos and the Ocean at Hermanus. Clear view of the Southern Right whales during whale season located in one of the best spots to see them as well. Steps to the beautiful Cliff Path walk for a morning or afternoon walk and 10 minutes by car to the center of town. Couldn’t be better located in my opinion. The entire staff is ready to help you with anything you need and fully interested in providing you a warm welcoming experience. The breakfast options every morning...

“From the moment that we checked in, Mike and May the owners made us feel at home. They are such friendly and helpful hosts. The cottage was up a flight of steps and Mike carried our cases up for us. Everything anyone could need was there. Spotlessly clean. A very comfortable bed. A sitting out area overlooking their gardens. A very safe and secure area from which we walked just a short distance into the town. Highly recommended. ”

Will stay again The only thing I can say is that the person underneath our apartment had a braai outside and when we opened our room window the whole room was flooded with smoke. I would suggest braai at designated area. ”

This particular unit would benefit from a deep cleaning occasionally...tile grout, around the kitchen sink, microwave, etc. Proper clothes washing soap was provided but none for the dishwasher. Overall, decent value for money. Recommend reversing the door opening on the fridge (easy to do with common tools) so it opens toward the kitchen area rather than the sleeping area...a minor...
