Nice house in a convenient location
The house itself was nice with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of TV channels. Convenient location. When we had a problem with the kettle upon arrival (was giving off a disgusting smell) the management company were round within 2 minutes with a new kettle. Great service.
What let it down was the upkeep of the garden and poor cleaning. Whilst the bathroom and bedrooms were spotless, I arrived on the first day open after lock down (4th July) to find a handful of crumbs on the kitchen counter , filthy finger marks on the fridge and kitchen doors as well as a very grubby remote control. Not good at the best of times but particularly unpleasant during a pandemic.
The banister on the juliet balcony was caked in bird excrement. The sofa cushions for the outside furniture also needed a wash for the same reasons.
If I'd had gardening equipment on me I would have had a go at the 'low maintenance' but not 'no maintenance' garden as it just felt sad and unloved. That said, it was better than nothing.
If these elements were improved it would be a very good rental.
Please note, the front driveway in the photos is not private. 2 cars from nearby houses use it too.
