“This little place was perfect for my husband and myself for a couple days when we needed to be in the area. “Such a Great place to stay for comfort and view. The house was very clean with everything needed to relax, cook and just rest! View is spectacular and we just sit for hours watching the river flow by. Neighbor's sweet dogs stopped by couple times a day to visit and get belly rubs.Quiet street with very little traffic.Craig was very responsive as aways. “This house was amazing! It was the best cabin I have ever stayed in. The location was secluded on the river. You really never have to leave the house with all of the amenities provided. Fireplace, game room, hot tub, hammock. And the adoreable town of West Jefferson is only around 18 minutes away. We went to Grayson Hoghlands 30 minutes away for a hike and saw the wild ponies. Wonderful stay”

“Everything was great! We never did manage to ride our bikes all the way up Vails Mill Rd., but was able to ride once we got closer to the top. Proximity to Creeper Trail was a bonus. The trip from Abingdon to Damascus is an awesome ride or just the ride to Alvarado Station and back is great. Ride in to town, look and shop and come back to the cabin and grill burgers. “Sitting on the deck we could hear the sounds of rustling wind thru trees, the flowing New River below, and birdsong. Nothing else. An occasional car, some cleanup noise from the hurricane. Otherwise, Utter silence.The cabin was tidy, with all necessary items for our stay, the owner very helpful, a great place for a get away. The solitude was cathartic! Will visit again.”
