The BEST of Times

We have stayed in this home numerous times. In fact, we do not even look for other properties when planning our Fripp Island week. The kitchen is wonderful and the open area nearby makes family time possible. MY favorite room in this lovely beach home is the sunroom just off the living room area. The home affords fabulous views of the dunes and the ocean ... and you are right next to the boardwalk! We love staying here and have already booked next summer's stay!

Great location

First and foremost, we had a great time on our vacation. The home was spacious and met our needs well. The location was outstanding being very close to the beach and golf course. Full transparency, the home is pretty worn and needs a refresh. It didn’t bother us because we were on the move most of the time. When we were in the house it was comfortable.

Great family house

The layout of this house was perfect for our family, with lots of options for the infants, kids, teens, parents and grand parents that stayed there. And you can’t beat the location, right on the board walk to the beach.

Wonderful Fripp

Our family has gathered on Fripp Island for the last few years. We have used this wonderful home each time and always feel so at home. It is the perfect place to be together but has spots of retreat when you want it. Our host was wonderful and attentive and we are already looking forward to summer 2025!

Perfect Golf Vacation

Our group of 13 came to visit Fripp for a Golf/Beach vacation and had a wonderful time. Lucky 7s was a perfect location, with both easy access to the beach and a quick golf cart ride to the island courses. The home slept everyone comfortably and had most every amenity we would need to cook/enjoy the beach etc. Kathy was also an excellent host and really helped me check all the boxes to ensure my group could start enjoying their vacation the minute they arrived.

Perfect group get away

The property was amazing and perfectly located on fripp! Just a golf cart ride to anywhere! The living room and kitchen were open and great for a group and the back porch was perfect foe afternoon sitting. The owner was very helpful when we needed her!

Lucky 7s is the place to be

Overall the house was amazing for our family. Plenty of space for a multiple families. There was enough room for everyone to move around freely and have their own spaces to relax. The view from Lucky 7s was amazing. The beach access was so perfect and the porch was a great place for all of us to unwind from the day. We had a great experience.

Nice house and a great kitchen

The house was a great fit for for us and the kitchen was incredibly well outfitted. My wife, who is very particular, commented on how well equipped the kitchen was. The island (in my opinion) is a cut above Hilton Head, Wild Dunes, and Isle of Palms. The house was a great place to spend a wonderful week. I think we've found the summer vacation spot for our entire family!

The house was perfect for our large group. Each bedroom had a bathroom close by. The location was great. A short walk to the beach was made easier with the cart supplied with the house. The beach chairs and umbrellas were also great. Would recommend!!

Walk down memory lane

We rented this house every year when my kids were little. The former owner was a good friend and only rented to friends and family. Love what the new owners have done with the house - big enough for our grown up family - even grandkids with the new bunk room - lovely decor and amazing artwork. I’d say it is the best equipped kitchen of any I have ever been in, including my own! Can’t wait to come back with the family next year!

Great clean house

This house was great. Everything you could ever want the house was supplied with. every tool and kitchen gaget you could want. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean! The communication with the rental people was amazing! She answered my text within minutes! Very very happy! 5 out of 5 stars!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The walk to beach was very enjoyable. Minor concerns: we could not find additional trash bags nor could we find additional toilet tissue. We purchased both--not a big deal but we are use to these being supplied.

Fripp Vacation 2024

Our family has used this property for several years now. We absolutely love the house: The kitchen with open dining/family room are great. The sunroom is wonderful too as well as the deck. So many areas of this home to gather. The boardwalk is right beside the house. Our host, Kathy, was very attentive to our needs from the reservation process all the way to checkout. She responded to any question we had for her in a very timely manner. We cannot wait for next year!

Lucky 7's was perfect for our family! Cannot wait to return!

The house was exactly as described and depicted in photos. Our family enjoyed both the outdoor space as well as the interior spaces. Each family had their own suite with comfortable beds and linens. We cooked and ate in for the majority of our week and had everything we needed in the well-equipped kitchen. The beach was absolutely beautiful, although it is a bit of a walk due to a very large tidal pool. The beach cart provided was very helpful in getting the chairs and beach toys around the tidal pool. Although we were there right behind Hurricane Ian, it seems like the tidal pool may be a permanent water feature on that beach. It did not slow us down from enjoying the beach day and night. Communications to/from Jen were timely and responsive. We would likely book this same house the next time we visit Fripp.

April family sunshine gathering

Perfect! We had plenty if room. The house is right next to the beach access # 2. At first we thought it was a long walk to the beach by the pictures and map, but it was actually fine. There is this awesome beach cart we loaded every day, making it easy to roll down chairs, tent, umbrellas, toys and whatever else. There is everything you need to enjoy the beach…chairs, toys, plastic shovels, buckets, umbrellas, boogie boards, towels and more. Watching for wild life was exciting. While boogie boarding around 4:30 pm one day we spotted a pod of dolphins who came within 15 ft of us!! We brought our own paddle boards which worked out well. At low tide there are seemingly endless sandbars. The adults walked and the younger ones paddled out. We found live sandollars, horseshoe crabs, and saw several small and large stingrays. We stepped on a stingray ( just a zing no sting) so you do need to do the stingray shuffle. I think the big highlight was seeing “Cheeto 2.0”… the 6 foot alligator with a tag on it. We were able to find out his name and size and that he can run 35 miles an hour to jump at you… so Cheeto 2.0, who we saw just once, got the right if way. We never saw him again near the end if the walkway. We also never let the kids walk that stretch without a grown up. FYI a gator was spotted on the other end the tidepool so he is in there… sunrises were so enjoyable. At 9:15 am one morning the dolphin pod was spotted again. The beach is absolutely perfect! At the end of the day plenty of showers in the house for all to clean up. An extra large capacity washer and dryer were very useful. The seating for meals was a challenge. Six at the table so we fed kids first then adults. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the back porch for relaxing or finding a quiet spot. There are plenty of games in the cabinet to entertain all. We enjoyed the golf carts to get around. It worked out very well. In early April we really didn’t need the amenity cards as many things were not open. We used them twice for the pools. I think by May more things will open. For our gathering this rental property was perfect and I highly recommend it. So much fun family time. Oh and the beds…so comfortable! We all slept well in what felt like a cloud.

The house is spacious and furnished nicely. The kitchen is very well equipped. We had everything we needed for the week. The view from the deck was beautiful. The only disappointment was the size of the tide pool at the end of the boardwalk which made setting up on the beach close to the water more difficult. The owner was very responsive to our needs and made our stay very pleasant. We had a very enjoyable week!

Best House, Best Trip in 20 years of coming!

This vacation was long awaited! My children have grown up with Fripp for summer vacations! This year was special as our son who has been in USMC for almost two years met us for vacation with his cousins and friends! My children both said “Best house, best Fripp trip” and they’ve been coming to Fripp for 20 years! We usually stay at different locations on the island and access the beach through center island. Staying ocean front was so much nicer and we spent so much more time at the beach! The house was as advertised—beach towels, chairs and toys! The best equipped kitchen in my 30 years of visits! The views from almost every area of the house were perfection! The back deck with its shaded area and palm tree were my afternoon getaway! Jennifer was very quick to respond with the one message I sent! Can’t say enough about this location and management…...my favorite!
