Great place to stay but you must BYO everything food related...

We really enjoyed staying here. Great location, close to Beaufort and Hunting Island. The golf courses were very nice and the access to the pool was a huge bonus. One thing that I'd recommend to this and any other rental unit owner / operator... Ensure the unit has the basics for food preparation and PROVIDE COFFEE! The fridge and cupboards were completely bare of essentials. Two pepper shakers was about it. A lot of families rent so they can prepare some of their own meals vs. eating out every night. Having some cooking oil, spices, salt & pepper and coffee is a pretty easy thing to have the maintenance team keep an eye on. Also, ensuring there are more than enough garbage bags and dishwasher tablets need to be a common practice. On the coffee front if I spend $300-$400 per night on a hotel - I will get FREE coffee. Showing up late at a rental late that is 10-15 minutes from coffee/supplies is a huge bummer. Sorry for the food rant but we've had very few rentals over the years that had no basics left behind.

Dataw Bluff Villa

We had a very nice stay at the property! The villa had everything we needed and the property manager was quick to respond to a text that I sent. The location was great with a lovely view of the tidal marsh from the deck. I would recommend the villa and would be happy to stay there again!

Loved this place. So peaceful and beautiful. The place itself is very clean and updated. Went out to Hunting Island which I would recommend. Very nice clean beach. Spent a day at the pool at the clubhouse. The pool is big and there is plenty of places to lay. Golf course is beautiful and my husband and the my boys loved that. Couldn’t have asked for better.

Great spot with nice furnishings and a beautiful view!! Just a note if you have children—the baths can only be used as showers. Also, the upstairs bedroom gets quite warm even with AC on.

Property had lovely views of the marsh and was conveniently located to the golf clubhouse, pickleball, and pool (in summer). It had everything we could possibly need. Property manager was very responsive, accommodating, and kind.

Sitt'n on the deck, watching the tide roll away!

The property was very nice, I would suggest 4 or less number of people at one time. Lots of amenities, tennis, pickleball, pool(s), Bocce ball, golf and croquet. Our place had a gas grill which was perfect for cooking some of our dinners. The view was second to none. Seriously thinking about moving to Dataw Island!
