A perfect beach house!

This lovely, super clean beach house was perfect for our family. The location is one of the best on the island, especially since the nearby beach access is one of the few which allows golf cart entry onto the beach for handicapped persons. The older home has been beautifully updated, but keeps its “beachy beach house” charm. We loved the large screened porch which has two overhead fans, a large picnic table, and comfortable casual seating. The well furnished kitchen has new ample cabinets, granite counters, and top-line appliances; a plus if you like to cook at home rather than face long wait times at nearby restaurants. The beds were super comfortable, another plus. Both the owner and property manager were friendly and helpful. We hope to enjoy more vacation stays at “The Sandbox” in the future!

3 Night Stay

Stayed 3 nights for a cousin's wedding. House was perfect for the 9 of us (6 upstairs and 3 downstairs).

The sewer backed up into the lower

The sewer backed up into the lower level - property manager was unresponsive - we had to move people who were downstairs and combine rooms upstairs - owner apologized but did not offer any solutions except it would get fixed - it was not fixed during our stay and the owner made no offer to right our inconvenience. We spent much of the weekend waiting to hear from the property manager who stopped answering our calls.

The location was very close to.the Beach. The home was very comfortable and had everything that you need. I would reccomend to anyone who is planning a trip to Fripp Island.

We had a great time in this great house! Cozy, comfy, and great location! Carol was wonderful to work with and responded right away to any question that we had! We would definitely book again!

Great Trip

We found the house to be clean and fit our family very well. The property manager was very helpful in managing our stay as well as any quest that arose during the week we stayed. Would definitely re book in the future.

Amazing Week!

What an amazing week! The home was clean, updated, and very comfortable. Our family talked about how it was cozy (playing board games on the screened porch or watching a show before bed) and expansive at the same time. With kids ranging in age from 11-18, we had family time together and everyone still had their own space throughout the week. You can see the ocean through the trees from the widow's walk and it is a 2 minute walk to the beach. Great fishing and kayaking. And plenty of deer gather in the yard each morning and evening, as well. We highly recommend this home and will be booking again!

Great location!

This property is SUPER close to access #15. The house had many great additions (hand soap for the sinks/towels/spices) that we always bring with us. There were tons of beach toys and chairs-we had brought our own but could have left them at home. Those extras are always so nice when you are traveling with a family. A great first experience of Fripp Island!

Great location, clean and accommodating.

Carol was very above and beyond accommodating with everything. House was clean and comfy, super close to the beach. We all had such a great time. Can’t thank you enough Carol.
