  • BEST LOCATION IN DOWNTOWN ST. JOE!
    This beautiful historic house is only a short block from State St. restaurants, wineries, and boutiques. Just one block to the bluffs that will take you down the steps to Silver Beach. You can see downtown St. Joe and the bluffs from the front porch of the house!

    Located on State St. in the Historic District, the "McNeil House" was originally built in 1855. While it still holds its historic charm, it resonates the coastal beach life!
    We all love our pets and hate to leave them behind, so we welcome up to two well-groomed pets as long as guests agree to follow our pet rules. As a courtesy to future guests that may have severe allergies to pets, we DO NOT allow pets on the furniture or bedding, and guests must clean up any additional shedding. Pet's must be crated when left alone. Guests must pick up after them outside. We charge $175 Per pet. Please let us know if you'll be bringing a pet.

This property was perfect for our family. The location is ideal for walking everywhere. The amenities were plentiful: toilet paper, toiletries, dish and laundry soap, etc., plus toys, books, games, beach toys, a wagon to take to the beach, a propane grill, and more! It is a perfect property for families. We enjoyed our stay very much, and would book it again in the future.

There was plenty of space, the kitchen was well stocked and having laundry available was a big plus. Excellent location. The house was decorated for Christmas which was really nice. Very nice accommodation.

Great location!

Location couldn’t be better - 5 minute walk to the beach, 2 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Plenty of beds for our party of 11. Nice stay!

It was a pleasure to work with Rebecca. I do think it should have been noted however that the powder room downstairs was in a bedroom and to bring cone shaped coffee filters! There is a drawer full of basket filters that people brought and left:)I also think it important that people know that the front porch has a very deep step (not to code) but probably allowed because it is a historic home. This may be very difficult for older people and certainly for little ones. Additionally, given the number of beds in the house, it was surprising the porch only had seating for four and no seating in the yard. Finally, the biggest plus of the house is the location—it is outstanding to walk into town and to the beach!!

Family reunion vacation.

Very nice historic home. It’s a short walk to shops, restaurants, Library, children’s Museum, splash pad, and beach. It was perfect for our family reunion vacation.

Magical Michigan

This was truly a magical place. Check in was easy the house was clean and as expected. Also, very well stocked. Most of all the location can’t be beat.

Perfect house and location

Great location. Pretty little park across the street and just one block from downtown or the bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. House was comfortable and had room enough for 11 family members.

Great place in St Joseph MI for a family gathering.

My siblings and our families had a great holiday weekend here. The house was big enough to give everyone their own sleeping space, and the living area was great for gathering as a family. Location close to downtown and silver beach was a plus- we could walk everywhere we needed to go.
