“It was a mixed experience. When we arrived it was clearly understaffed as one lady at the desk was managing all of us, including a youth hockey team and a fairly rude customer. However, despite that, she handled it like a champ! I was very impressed with her service. We also ended up being checked into a room that had not been cleaned (housekeeping neglect, which I gathered may be a common occurrence). But, when I brought this up with the lady up front she was very apologetic and moved us into...

“I was very disappointed with the room instead of having four towels. I had three, no soap to wash my body period. I pulled out the bed and there were french fries and dirt underneath each bed. And your representative on the phone was very rude for the first booking and said I was getting the best deal then I had to call back and I said I just booked it online and I got it $50 cheaper ”

“What makes this property special are Elsa and Brian who made a personal effort to provide good service. From helping with the door key, to carrying luggage and providing room service for dinner they went the extra mile and it makes a difference. The room and bathroom were very clean. Good value for money. The property is not fancy but I’m very glad we chose it as it was a positive rather than neutral experience on our journey.”

“Very nice motel at affordable price, with cosy rooms, clean, well equipped (even with dual microwave-convection oven) and with great attention to detail from owners. Very good wifi connection as well. We had a great stay in Chase, which was a nice stopover on our way west from Golden.”
