Cozy beach retreat

Loved being so close to the ocean!!cool breeze lots of sunshine. House had everything needed. Parking was tight for a full size truck but we made it work!! Walking distance from lots of restaurants, bars and activities.would definitely stay again in the future!!

We had a great time. Location is perfect. It was so nice to have a reserved parking spot and right next to the door. Bed was comfortable. We will be coming back here again. Alot!!! Thanks for letting us stay here.

Perfect for what we needed

This was perfect for what we needed for the weekend visit with our son. Steps to the beach and lots of restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely book again for future stays in the area.

Fabulous location

Absolutely loved how close the home was to the beach and all of the boardwalk action! The home was small but clean and cool and had everything we needed.

Great spot

What a wonderful stay we had at this location. The beach being about 20ft away was exactly what we were looking for and for such a great price. Not to mention the fact it had a parking spot was a no brainer. It was also nearby plenty of spots to eat and shop. Would definitely recommend this stay to someone

Parking is great! This area doesn’t have enough parking, so to have a spot just for us was amazing! The place was very clean, no sand on the floor at all! The linens were clean with no stains. It was great having beach chairs and beach towels! A lot of places don’t provide these. We would highly recommend! Having a/c was a big plus, it got up to 90* while we were there!

Strandway #3

Our stay at Strandway was effortless and comfortable. We were steps away from the boardwalk and the location was perfect for a mission beach boardwalk stroll or go the opposite direction for a walk to pacific beach. Communication was fabulous with check-ins to be sure we were comfortable and our needs were met. I would highly recommend Strandway for a comfortable and convenient beach vacation stay.

Great stay!

It was so close to the beach amd simple! Had everything we needed, i would only suggest putting a broom or vacuum bc the sand was on the floor our whole stay. Other then that it was perfect!

Arrangement

Easy access to beach and restaurants and bars. The arrangement is odd in living room area and unit is very small. Homeless person was sleeping right around the corner of unit.

Small but great location

Great place,but small....there seemed to be alot of flies and fruit flies,and they ended up in the condo. Also the air conditioner was hard to figure out and loud...but location...location

Per posting I was aware small and no dresser but AC should read only in bedroom not entire house - no outlets to use in front room Only 1 in bedroom but useless because not to set a phone on. Couch is hard as a rock. Very disappointing- also called before stay and I was told 4 sets of towels for 2 guests for 4 days - actually was only 4 towels.

Great location

What a great apartment. This trip was my daughter (14) & I. It was a fabulous location, we could walk to everything we needed. We did take the bus to Ralph's to pick up a few things & it was so easy!!! My daughter already asked to go back next year. As a parent you know how amazing that is!! Thank you Surf Style for a fantastic summer vacation!!!!

Small but a parking space

Very small on the inside. No place to put luggage except under the bed. There is a closet but it was crowded with mops, brooms, chairs. Great location; we were able to walk to several bars, restaurants stores. One very convenient parking spot. Small problem with ants, fortunately they do not swim very well.

The perfect weekend getaway for two!

This property is just steps away from the beach and the perfect location amongst local restaurants. The check-in process was a breeze and the available parking spot for the unit was very convenient! I was very surprised to find the unit stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen had cooking essentials to prepare small meals and the bathroom even included a blow dryer. The unit also had beach towels and two beach chairs available. The AC kept the unit at a comfortable temperature our entire stay. I would definitely look to book this place again.

Smaller than expected

Air conditioner was a bit on the noisy side. A fan to push the cool air through the living space would've been appreciated. It was definitely tight quarters, even for just 2 people. The fact that there wasn't even a table to set your phone or even a glass of water on in the bedroom was a bit inconveniant. We loved how close the beach was, which is the whole reason for our trip. The bucket to wash your feet was definitely a great touch along with the beach chairs.

Location was great

We were some what disappointed. The unit was very small, no dresser (s) in the bedroom, paint peeling off the walls and a very uncomfortable couch. I have rented several VRBO's in the past which usually have some basics (salt/pepper, cooking oil, some spices, and a few pods of coffee to get started )...there was nothing. The renters upstairs were very noise, heavy footed and very loud at night with their bedroom activities. On the plus side..great location steps from the beach, boardwalk, restaurant's, shopping and pubs. The Olive bakery is a must stop for a coffee and daily fresh baked goods. We will defiantly come back to this area just not rent this unit.
