The house itself was clean, which we appreciated. However, it was not ready at check in, as the cleaners were still there and didn’t leave until 3:40 pm.Upon arrival, there were no towels in the bathrooms. They were left in the hallway and definitely need to be replaced. The kitchen could use some upgrades. The cookware and supplies were very low quality, and the pans gave off a chemical smell when heated. There wasn’t a salad bowl. You don’t need a lot, just the essentials, but those basics should be functional and safe.The mattresses were foam with very light comforters, which may not be comfortable for everyone. The BBQ had charcoal but no lighter fluid, so we ended up cooking steaks in the broiler on a low quality baking sheet.There were also no pre arrival instructions provided. We had to reach out to get the WiFi password and other basic information. Since there is no dishwasher, we felt the need to rewash everything before using it. With better preparation, clearer communication, and some thoughtful upgrades to linens and kitchen supplies, this property could provide a much better experience.
