I’ve been really trying to think of anything negative about our stay and as a family we could not come up with one single thing! The location, the amenities, the cleanliness, the view… everything was perfect! The house had everything you could need and more! We are already planning our next trip back!

We really enjoyed our stay and loved the home. Everything was as described, and we would definitely consider staying again.The only thing to be aware of is the split floor plan. While it is noted in the listing, we didn’t fully realize how close the shared spaces would feel when another unit is occupied. There is limited privacy when using the outdoor areas, and some normal noise from the unit above can be heard. This didn’t cause any issues during our stay, but it’s something future guests may want to keep in mind.Overall, a great experience, and we would happily return—especially with friends or family renting the other unit.

The property had beautiful beachfront views, and comfortable bed (we only stayed downstairs) when we arrived the upstairs air was set at 68 but it was so hot up there that we couldn’t stay and enjoy the view from there. The had anything we needed to cook for ourselves and have our morning coffee, we enjoyed sitting on the patio during our stay.The home is in need of some maintenance. The screen door was torn away from the frame and hanging there, we couldn’t leave the door open without letting in tons of flies. The ice maker was broken, the showers had visible mold that should be treated and removed with proper cleaning. There weren’t proper instructions on how to wash sand off after utilizing the beach as the outdoor shower was out of commission. Having never stayed in a beach house before I had to google it so we didn’t wash out the boardwalk. I did email the property management company with no response or acknowledgment. The neighboring units leave their exterior lights on all night so the entire house is lit up downstairs. You can hear the people walking on the second floor. Overall not as clean as I was expecting. The baseboards, rug and walls were dirty and its visible the salt air is causing damage to the home. Furniture wasn't comfortable at all. We had to spend more time inside than planned as we had our dog with us. I thought MB was dog friendly but they have very restrictive dog laws so check before visiting.

Location, Location, Location! My family of 10 stayed for 5 nights and we are very pleased with the memories we made. The beds were very comfortable! It has all the things, toys, chairs you need for your beach stay. We made the mistake of bringing our own and didn’t have to! The showers are great and the bathrooms are big with lots of storage space throughout the house. Our mini van and suv fit in the tandem space. We gained easy access upon arrival. We brought our 4 legged family member and it was perfect. The bedroom downstairs was perfect for my mom as it has its own bathroom. Cooking was a breeze in the kitchen. We do wish it had some storage containers for the leftovers, more paper towels and more dishtowels. They do provide a little laundry detergent but with our big family we wish we could have done more loads of towels. They also provide some beach towels.Bring your own ground coffee and round filters. My grandchildren had so much fun on the boogy boards! We also did our family photos that included a marriage proposal on the beach. Be sure and book the beach bonfire right out front. Awesome place!

I am very disappointed on our stay. We trusted VRBO so we booked for 2 1/2 monthsWe arrived and found that the description was a lie and the pictures were very misleading. It said the entire home and said 40 ft of oceanfront on all 3 full floors with 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms- 3075 sq. ft.It turns out that this is a 2 unit building and the second floor faces the neighbors side of his homeI called, texted and e mailed regarding this problem and no one reached out to deal with my complaintI arrived on a Saturday and they were closed and said someone would reach out on Monday. Of course no one responded.The place has probably no insulation as everything the people and the kids above us did, we could hear.Apparently the owner has 3 different listings and the pictures don’t tell the whole storyWe even got robbed of 1500 and it was from someone who had a combination to our unit. There is no safe providedI could go on and on as it gets worse.Mark

Overall it was mid

The property itself is ok. It is a little on the rundown side but the location is great being right on the boardwalk. The beds were ok but also inconsistent. Some were memory foam, some were a traditional mattress. There are two properties in this building and each one has space on each floor. The garage is the only parking and can get pretty cozy as it is shared with the other unit. This unit also has the main living area on the ground floor. The noise that comes from the other unit is no joke. You can hear basically every footstep and when the patio door opens and closes it sounds like distant thunder. The only real problem here is we had neighbors during part of our stay that got up for the day around 4:30 am. The main reason for the low star review is that the property actually had no hot water when we got there. The first shower was luke warm and we thought maybe the water heater temp was turned way down. It was annoying, but was kind of whatever. Then nxt day the shower was ice cold. After contacting the management it took three days to get it fixed. These guys do manage many properties which did allow for them to give us access to other nearby properties to shower. Which was helpful, but very inconvenient especially for what the rental rate is of this property. What was truly irritating and the reason for the overall rating is that they did not take this situation that seriously and did not communicate adequately about it.

Family Vacay

Very nice location. Accommodated our family of eight. A small issue with no bedding for the pullout sofa bed for the kids. That finally showed up on our last night. Just a couple of minor fixes that need to be done to the house. The garbage disposal didn’t work and we couldn’t close the blinds in the living room, which is where the kids slept so that was a little concerning. Overall, our family had a great time lots of toys to play with chairs all the things you need to enjoy your beach vacation. Thank you.

Family and Friends Vacation

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying in Life’s a Beach 1. We had two toddlers and an infant with us, so being next to the beach was absolutely what we were looking for. The upstairs guests were a little in our face about wanting the code to the hot tub on our VRBO contract. Other than that, everything was perfect. I would absolutely stay here again and rent out both homes so all our family can enjoy. Thank you Surf Stule!

Nice location strange set up

We received a complaint about being too loud from the owner that lives in the house. There was poor to no communication with management to resolve the issue. Pretty place. Bizarre setup

Quick stay In paradise

We had a wonderful time during our long weekend at this great property. You can’t ask for a better location! We had a great time at the beach and exploring nearby Mission Blvd. The kitchen had all that you could ask for and the hot tub was icing in the cake after a dip in the ocean. Would highly recommended and will be planning another visit soon!

Great location -hot tub a plus

Property was in great location and very nice for our family. Having a hot tub in the cool weather was a plus! Might be helpful to have more plastic cups and plastic wine glasses for outdoor use. Would come back again.

Perfect Family spot - Highly recommend

Great location easy walking distance. 20 minutes either direction on the boardwalk to restaurants shops, Belmont Park, pier, volleyball all of the things you might want to do while you’re at the beach. The property was clean and updated, and well maintained . With easy check-in and checkout process, no need to strip beds, wash, sheets or towels, all taken care of by the cleaning staff, thumbs up on that. 👍

Great location for family weekend

The property was effectively as advertised. Great location right on the water making for very nice sunsets received a text from management from what was said to be a neighbor reminding us about noise when our children were effectively napping, and there was no noise going on. This was a drawback. Sent a message about a minor light fixture repair and did not hear back for two days after we had already checked out everyone had a great time.Bring foil and saran wrap if you are traveling and cooking, because these were not there

Beach house dream

We stayed at this property for three nights. Our arrival was super easy. The property itself is fantastic. You can’t get any closer to the beach. We lucked out and had incredible weather in February and got to sit in the Jacuzzi every day and chat with people walking by. The best part about this place is you literally pack up your bags and leave they don’t expect you to do anything for cleaning which is fantastic when you’ve had a fun weekend and you’re ready to hit the road.

Great beach week!

Perfect size for a family of four to have room to stretch out. Steps to the beach. Adequately stocked and cleaned. Thank you! Would stay here again. Especially as it had a private front patio. We would have preferred NO hot tub, so there would be more room on the front patio for lounge chairs.And we loved the fact that we could bring our dog…that was a real treat.
