“This was the first time I have stayed in Oak Hill Inn but it won't be my last. My room was charming and quiet, plenty big enough for two though it was just me this time. The last time I stayed in Julian it was at the Julian Hotel and I felt confined and claustrophobic (I had to leave the room to change my mind). No such issues at the Oak Hill Inn. “I loved our stay here! The property is clean and updated. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. The one bedroom was perfect for myself and my two teenage sons. The mini kitchen was an added plus. I would definitely book another stay here.”

“The connecting suites were a perfect size for my group of 10. They were clean, the beds were large, and dishes, pots and pans were available in the kitchenette to allow for leftovers or cooking. The complimentary fresh morning breakfast was more than the usual grab and go selection most hotels have. Right off the freeway, so many things were easy access. $22/night for a parking pass, unless you park on the street. Would definitely stay here again!”

“Location is phenomenal (right next to the 5/8 highways) and there's plenty of grocery stores and cafes/restaurants nearby. Old Town is less than a mile away for anyone interested in exploring that. Property is a small 1br with a sofa bed, which suited our needs well. The owner was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Only dinged a little on cleanliness because we initially walked around and the soles of our feet (particularly the toddler's) turned dark real quick. Seems like...

“Fabulous location. Great for family entertaining. Not enough hot water for large bathtub. Dishwasher didn't clean the dishes. Left food debris on everything.”

“When you enter the room, you see packages of ear plugs. No need to say more; you won't get any sleep here because of the rooftop bar and window shades that just filter light but don't darken. Also noteworthy is there's no coffee or microwave in the room. Other than that, the room itself is very nice.”
