For the most part it was an amazing stay! So happy we were able to stay here. It was only my husband and I, but we rented it for the living room/ dining area as it was perfect for hosting a small birthday dinner get together for my 92yr old father-in-law. Very peaceful time of year! And so close to the bay or beach! And within walking distance to Belmont Park. And the host has beach chairs & towels available to use! The only drawback for us were the planes over head. BUT, we loved it anyway!

Everything about this rental is beyond expectations! Its clean, fresh, beautiful, spacious , bright, quiet and perfectly located , the hosts are extremely helpful and they responded immediately when I had a question. We absolutely adored this house and hope that it’s available when we return next year !

Nice Place

Great location and the property was very nice and clean. Great communication before, during, and at the end of the stay. I will say the available parking (in the garage) was extremely tight and tough to maneuver (Honda Pilot). Aside from the parking everything was great.

Nice house in a great neighborhood!

The location of the property is pretty much perfect. The home is clean and well equipped. Beds were comfy and garage is full of anything you need to enjoy the beach. Communication with property management was super easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Mission Beach Duplex!

My son and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a lovely time. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with all necessities. Communication was extremely good, likely the best I’ve ever had using VRBO. There was minor city sewer construction and it was lovely to know that before arriving.As others stated, the garage is long and skinny (tandem) and took me a 7 point turn to get in and out of, but I expected it and my sensors and son helped me! I have a 4 door Audi GT if helpful, so not a huge car.

Great spot in Mission Beach

Our family of four stayed at this property for six days while visiting San Diego. It was clean and bright, very close to the beach, and had plenty of amenities, including a washer/dryer and beach chair/toys. We had no issues, but the hosts were prompt with communication upon check-in/out.The garage parking is tight. We rented a Jeep Compass and had to carefully back in from a fairly narrow alley. The included parking worked great, but I'd be cautious with a larger SUV.

Great Beach Getaway

The home is beautiful and well maintained. Quiet neighborhood, great for families and a short walk to the bay and the beach. Great small neighborhood markets and coffee shops. Parking and navigating the narrow streets and alleys is a bit difficult and if you don’t have a very small car, you won’t be able to get into the garage. But, there is street parking and free, safe beach parking a short walk away. Great experience, would recommend!

Sunny spot steps from the bay!

Nice condo with lots of natural light and walking distance to both the bay, beach and park. Great outdoor spaces and partial view of the bay from the living area which is upstairs from sleeping quarters. The master bed was very comfortable. Just two of us for this trip so the 1 shower room with toilet was not an issue and there is another toilet upstairs. Furniture is a little dated and some kitchenware could be updated but none of those things kept us from enjoying the time spent in this property. It’s great that the property provides chairs, toys, wagon and an ice chest for beach days! A plus is that driving back to the property from San Diego is opposite of the traffic! We seldom experienced bad traffic.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beach house in Mission Beach! The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the sand and surf. The house itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy this little slice of paradise again!

Nice, clean and well-equipped

Quaint, clean and the enough space for the 3 of us (all adults). Well equipped with kitchen utensils, flatware, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. There were not a lot of dining options within a half mile but, if you are willing to walk a mile or so, there are plenty of options. However, because of the location (southern part of Mission Beach) there is less foot traffic and noise and there are smaller crowds on the beach.

Fun bay and beach cottage

Roomy relaxing clean home in walking distance to Mission bay and beach. We liked the 2nd story deck, beach gear and toys, garage for parking (small cars) and well stocked kitchen and baths. No AC but plenty of fans and SD weather was temperate as usual

Amazing Place

What a wonderful beach vacation spot. They had everything we needed as a family of 4 and then some. The garage was one of the biggest we’ve ever had staying in Mission. Our Toyota Tacoma fit in the garage with ease. Lovely views and a VERY short walk to the beach or bay. We’d love to stay here again. BOOK IT!

Great home, great location

My four kids and I loved our vacation at this home. The bunk bed room with an extra bed was perfect for my teenage boys. My daughter and I shared the other room. Upstairs was open and refreshing with plenty of seating and a nice patio with a bbq. The location was exactly what we wanted. We could choose to walk to the beach or bay. Less than a minute walk to the beach and a few seconds to the bay. We could watch the sunset at the beach and then the Seaworld fireworks from the bay a little later! I was able to fit my minivan in the garage one time, after that it was too much trouble and I just parked at the nearby mission point park. The host was very responsive which was so nice. I was never wondering about check in and they answered my questions almost immediately.

Beautiful, central location, spacious and well maintained

Check in was seamless and management quickly responded to inquiries. Property is spacious and described accurately in listing. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The only inconvenience was parking. Listing states that parking space is limited and garage may be tight. It should clearly say that any vehicle larger than a sedan does not fit. There was no remote for the garage so one has to pull out into the alley and get out of the car to close and open the garage. A few times I was stopping traffic while doing this. A minor inconvenience but it should be clearer in the listing for those not familiar with the area. In general a great property. Would rent again.

Much needed Getaway

San Diego is a great place to visit. And Mission Beach was just what we wanted with the boardwalk, great coffee spots, restaurants and of course the ocean. This VRBO is close to everything, we rely enjoyed our stay.

Great time

Very enjoyable stay. We were very comfortable and liked the location,but not as close to the beach as we thought.Small quirks, 4 bathroom sinks but only two toilets and one shower, not one bathroom with all.Could not get the coffee maker to work in spite of instructions from staff. We really enjoyed the outdoor decks.
