The Hideaway

  • Hermoso de un dormitorio, un baño completamente remodelado en uno de los mejores barrios de San Diego. Está ubicado a una cuadra del Parque Balboa y del Zoológico de San Diego. A poca distancia de restaurantes, vida nocturna y mucho más ... a solo cinco minutos del centro de San Diego.

    Nuestro lugar tiene una nueva unidad de aire acondicionado que hace que nuestra casa esté helada, hay un garaje para un automóvil y un patio al aire libre con una mesa con capacidad para cinco personas. Hay una lavadora y secadora dentro de la unidad.

The property was perfect for what we needed - big enough for three adults and a baby, and close to the convention center. It was easy to find, and we loved the convenience of a washer/dryer. There were some ants, but they weren’t a big problem and were in the process of being taken care of.

Hosts are great with communications and the Hideaway was perfect for our needs. Nearby within a short walk are The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, and the Hillcrest neighborhood for shopping and restaurants. The bed was most comfortable and other amenities were as described, quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We would book again.

We loved this place. It was a great landing point for all the attractions in Balboa Park. It was surprisingly spacious for 2 people and would accommodate a family of 4 easily. The kitchen was full size, plenty of workspace and well stocked with snacks, waters and soft drinks. Nice private patio in the back. The bedroom was comfortable with a California king, nice tub/shower with great water pressure.The hosts checked in with us frequently and were very responsive with any questions.We will definitely stay here again!

Great location and property

We really liked our stay because the rental had everything we needed and the location was great. A very pleasant neighborhood and close to everything. Will definitely stay there again if we go to San Diego.

Wedding stay

We stayed for a wedding at Balboa park. The place was very convenient and within walking distance of the park as well as restaurants and stores. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Anniversary Celebration

Great location, well appointed and comfortable. We felt at home right away. The Hideaway was the perfect place to explore Balboa Park and the Zoo.

Amazing place

I loved staying at this location; it is beautiful and quiet. It is immaculate and cozy; it feels like home, and the communication with the property manager is exceptional. Thank you for the fantastic hospitality.

Great location

The property was very nice and comfortable. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. Checking in and out were fast and easy.The extra complimentary snacks and drinks were a nice added touch.

Just terrific! It was quiet and clean, bed was comfy. I felt very safe. Great hosts. We walked back and forth to the park to the museums, found a nearby hiking area enjoyed wonderful restaurants, saw outdoor Shakespeare, had a picnic. A wonderful trip all around.

Nice property and neighborhood

Spacious one bedroom and plenty of street parking (only a very small car will fit in the garage). Biggest plus is having air conditioning…a rarity in SD and much appreciated. Enjoyed our stay

Great location and communication

We were able to walk to park and restaurants while the highways were close by as well. The small patio in the back was good. The owner checked in to see if everything was ok and there were snacks and drinks.

The home was exactly as advertised. Very clean and spacious. Well stocked with everything we needed. Wonderful location close too many things we wanted to see. I highly recommend this place

Perfect!

We stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon and it was everything we needed! The location was fantastic! Our truck would not fit in the little garage but there was plenty of street parking and we never had to park far from the unit! The kitchen is well stocked and everything was super clean! We would stay again!

Great property in a great location.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Close to everything Balboa park is right next-door and what a nice neighborhood. All the neighbors were saying hi to us when we’re out in the street going to the car. Felt totally safe.
