Well appointed, we had everything we could possibly need. Kitchen was well stocked, beach toys, laundry facilities, etc. bunk room was great for the kids. Property was clean and comfy. We had a nice and relaxing stay.

The house was fantastic and everything we needed.Beds and living room were very comfortable. Was worried there may be a lot of noise being so close to the boardwalk but am happy to say we didn't hear a thing. Garage was really great to have and made storing our vehicle and bikes so easy. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Great location

We had a great stay at your home! Steps away from the beach and easy to get around. Master is on bottom floor, main floor is kitchen/family room and top floor is bunk room and another bedroom with shared bath. The house was well equipped and plenty of beach chairs for our family if 5. Minor issue with refrigerator that we were reimbursed for. Overall I would recommend!

A Perfect Beach Getaway

Our stay at the Ultimate Mission Beach Vacation Home was absolutely incredible. This was, without a doubt, one of the cleanest and most well-appointed homes I've ever rented. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the Decore, comfortable beds, to the fully equipped and so well-organized kitchen.The location truly can’t be beat - just steps from the sand with easy access to the strand, amazing restaurants, and local attractions. We loved being able to take long walks on the strand, play games in the cozy living area, and cook meals together in the open dining kitchen area.This home made our beach getaway relaxing, fun, and memorable. Highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat!

Thanksgiving San Diego Style

This was a great property… a perfect size and location to celebrate a Thanksgiving with my son, his fiancé and her immediate family! The kitchen was very well stocked, and the property’s open floor plan made it just right to share a day with family. Easy to take a stroll along the boardwalk another benefit. Would definitely stay here again. 😊👍

Perfect house at the perfect location

Property is well managed with modern QR codes, emails, and text messages throughout our stay. Home is recently remodeled with bathrooms on every floor and garage parking. The main living space is the middle floor with plenty of space and a great patio for dining and relaxing. Beds are comfortable, property is clean. The outdoor shower is perfect when you return from the sandy beach. My family and I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic property

Wonderful, well maintained property in a terrific location, steps to mission beach and bay. Easily accommodated 3 adults and 4 kids. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen modern and well stocked. Outdoor space was an added bonus. The Drift Management company (which rents a number of properties in the area) was very responsive— when the main TV suddenly stopped working, a brand new replacement appeared nearly instantaneously. A less apparent perk was the parking which accommodated a full size SUV parked at a slight angle. Would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous home, location and host!

This is one of the first VRBO homes that actually matched the photos and exceeded our expectations. Loved it! 4 houses from the brach/strand. You get a partial ocean view from the main deck and some windows. Walk to anything you could want: breakfast, coffee, surf board and. Ike rentals across the alley, small market about 3 blocks away. Mission bay a couple of blocks away. Host was always responsive to quick requests from me confirming which rental car would fit in the garage and allowing us to check in a bit early. 10/10

Great House, Needs Cleaning and Attention

This home has not been well maintained. Upon first look, the home appears okay, however, the couches, throw pillows and actual bed pillows were filthy. So much so that I purchased couch covers, bath towels, and bed pillows. The bath towels have been washed so many times they are hard, I ordered new towels for our stay as well. The lighting in this house is horrible. Maybe intentionally, so you do not see the issues? The living room has a dining room light and 3 can light on the far side of the room, other than that you have one table lamp. The 2nd-floor patio is very narrow and although there is a table for 8, it is placed against the railing so you really only have a table for 5. The kitchen which is decent does not have 1 full set of dishes, the enamel on the dishes is so worn it looks gray from the fork-to-plate interaction. Wine glasses (there are 3) have been washed so many times they are cloudy. If you are traveling with small children, there is a plethora of children's plasticware. We were there for 12 days so I had the opportunity to wash sheets and pillowcases, which leads me to the pillows....replace them when there are bodily fluids on them, do not just cover up and hope no one notices. Not one toilet seat sits properly on the toilet, small adjustments can be made to correct it. There is mold in the showers. It should be noted that you share an ally with a restaurant/bar. This breads a big fly problem in the summer months. Trash is collected on Tuesdays for homes and Wednesdays for restaurants. The home has a hanging fly trap/strip inside that looks as if it has not been changed in months. It should also be noted that you share an entryway with the home next door and that there is no access to the lower patio without going through the master bedroom. The patio has a waist-high wall in the entryway that has 2 beach cruisers locked together. The bikes appear to be placed there as a deterrent so that it is difficult to access or use the patio unless you go through the master bedroom. The lower level patio has rattan outdoor furniture that is in desperate need of replacing you actually could injure yourself on it. The plastic rattan is battered in many areas and walking too close you will cut yourself. The outdoor cushions have so many bird droppings on them, that we covered them with beach towels. The water hose that is on the outside does not work. The hose was dry rotted and is not for use on the patio as it

Parking is a nightmare

The house was ok, although not as nice and new as it looks in the pictures. Our second car, which is a small car, didn’t fit in the left half of the garage. After driving around for an hour looking for overnight parking, we put it in the garage at The Catamaran Hotel for $50 a day. It was a source of stress our entire vacation. I didn’t love the area for our family. On a positive note, there were some nice restaurants within walking distance and of course the beach is right there. Belmont Park was fun, as well as Coronado Island and Downtown San Diego. Unfortunately, the property management company was terrible at messaging me back. I’ve never had that issue before when using Vrbo.

Beautiful house in the perfect location

This property was great. We really enjoyed our stay. The location couldn’t be beat. Quick walk to the beach (under a minute) in a beautiful area. Home had all amenities needed-we spent all of our time on the beach. We can’t wait to come back.

Great place!

This was our first experience at this property and it didn’t disappoint. The check in process was great and the property managers responded quickly to questions. The house had plenty of room for our party of 7. We will definitely stay here again!
