Lovely house with a lot of character and charm. Thought the noise may be a problem but I slept well without it bothering me. There is definitely noise from the planes and from trains. But it settles down in evening, the house blocks some of it, and white noise drowns it out. Hosts attentive to all details. Leave you snacks, water, coffee which we very much appreciated. Kids loved the bunk room. Hot tub and yard are wonderful. Game room was utilized by my family. Of note the foosball table handles are installed backwards! So opposite direction that you'd normally play. Good central location close to a lot of neighborhoods in San Diego.

Beautiful property with a great view of Coronado Bay. We had a small problem, but the owners took care of it very quickly sending over a technician the same day. We would gladly stay there again!

We were here for a wedding and could not have chosen a better spot! This house is truly the heart of San Diego—close to everything, with Gaslamp, Little Italy, Old Town, Balboa Park, and Point Loma only minutes away. The management team was super responsive. The view from the front patio is unforgettable. Watching planes and seeing Navy ships cruise by across the bay, made for truly unique memories. Yes, you’ll hear the airport outside, but the windows keep things quiet indoors, and honestly, it all adds to the charm of staying in San Diego.The backyard was private and pretty. The Angel Trumpets were blooming and the other flowers made it special. Inside, we found everything we needed—a well-stocked kitchen, super comfy beds (loved the double bunk room for kids!), plus a sweet TV and sound system to unwind with.We enjoyed every minute. Highly recommended for families, couples, adventure seekers, and anyone wanting to just soak in the San Diego experience. We’ll be back!— The Wedding Crew, August 2025

Charming!

The house was charming. Very clean and the communication from the property manager was excellent. The only reason I rated it 4 stars and not 5 is for two minor reasons: 1) beds & pillows not comfortable, however, they were bearable for the 3 nights we were there 2) all bedrooms had TVs except for the one that had a bathroom. Overall the location was great, the property was very clean and nice.

Great location

The house was perfect for our family. The location was great. We lived sitting on the front porch watching the planes. The outdoor space was great. The house was spotless and the amenities were very much appreciated. We would definately stay again.

The property was incredible!! We really had the feeling that the host/owner/team cared that we were there and that we were comfortable and happy. I would have given 5 stars (which I never do) for all categories but the, if anything, the off the chain-ness of the property was down played on the "online listing". GREAT property. Family getaway

While staying at the property a plumber was required to manage a drainage issue which was done promptly. We found the dishwasher to be quite noisy. The location was great and central to many attractions however walking would be difficult due to the hills in the area. While noise cancelling efforts are made at the property the noise caused by the planes, trains, and automobiles is very apparent. Some of these details could be better represented in the listing details. Property overall very enjoyable and managed very well. This is the main reason why we kept a 5 star review.

Amazing home away from home

We were here in San Diego for a family vacation and this home was just perfect for our family of four. A little more expensive than a hotel but more than worth it - mainly due to each of our sons had a bedroom to themselves and the 2.5 bathrooms meant no one had to rush.We celebrated our Christmas Eve with family and then watched a movie together on the projector tv in the living room. It was one of the most memorable Christmas eves for us.

House in San Diego

This was a cute house in a good location with fun touches to keep the stay entertaining. It is across the highway from the airport, but the windows were good and we were never bothered by the sound and it was a plus for those of us who had early departures. The location is very convenient for many locations and highway access.

Amazing stay

It’s hard to put into words how beautiful this home was. Not only the view but the entire home was decorate so thoughtfully. Cleanliness was on par with any 5 star hotel. Everyone who stayed enjoyed themselves and slept great. Did I mention the added bonus of a hot tub! Great location as well. Highly recommend

Home was just as described

Enjoyed our stay at the home! Close to everything. House was a very well maintained home. Views were amazing. Only complaints would be ceiling fan in middle bedroom was making a humming sound, so we did not want to use. The house was full of accommodations for our stay. I would definitely stay again.

Great Place for Relaxation

All-around, very impressed with this home and hosts (communication was great). Everyone in the group was comfortable and really enjoyed their stay. All of the amenities were exactly as listed and definitely enhanced the experience, so I won't go into detail on them. Some cute restaurant/shop areas are a 15-minute walk away, but it is a bit hilly. We would love to return!

Great location, nice amenities

House is well appointed with lots of nice little "extras", such as sound machines, play area in the garage with darts and multi-activity pool table, beach toys, towels, chairs, and umbrellas (loved having these!), and a grill. Very clean interior and exterior at check-in. Kitchen is stocked with coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, pots & pans, and tupperware for leftovers. The location is close to Balboa Park/Zoo, Sea World, and the airport (both good and bad, but we actually hardly noticed the plane noise). It helps that the windows are double pane (double sliders). Interior is spacious. Never felt like we were tripping over one another. The exterior is peaceful and pretty. Taking a few moments to finish my morning coffee outside was very relaxing. I would stay here again on another visit to SD.

My Family sure enjoyed our stay here! The place was a great location for several attractions! Beds were comfy, it was stocked well and had great recommendations for activities and food! Yes it’s close to the airport but the noise never interfered with our sleep. Just a great little place to unwind after a day of sight seeing!

Beautiful house

The house is well equipped and in a great location for seeing all the sights. Beds were comfortable and enjoyed the air hockey table and hot tub. The airport was close by and with that came noise when the flight pattern reversed to take off heading east. Bring sound machines and shouldn’t be as noticeable.

Fabulous location and amenities

There were 8 of us in the family celebrating graduation from Marine Corp boot camp and a sailor returning from deployment. The location is excellent for both MCRD, Naval base Coronado, and the Naval Medical Center. It is also walking distance to Little Italy, Seaport Village and a longer walk to Balboa Park. The house is lovely with 3 good size bedrooms with the queen bed having a small en suite. The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean upon check-in and property management was very responsive to questions. The backyard, games and hot tub were exactly as described, very homey and comfortable. The two thing that I’d like to let potential travelers know about is the proximity to the airport does present noise if you like to sleep in or go to bed before 10. I had no issues with my ear plugs and there are noise machines provided. The other is the driveway. We had rented a Buick Enclave and there was only a few inches of clearance on either side which made for a little scary maneuvering. My brother’s full size truck did not fit but luckily he parked on the street and we got around in our rental. If we need this space again, we would definitely rent this place again!
