“Place was awesome! The room was clean and suited our needs perfectly. The whole hotel was beautiful and the staff was very nice and responsive! Fantastic location, tons of great restaurants and things to do immediately next to the hotel. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but that's really not something the hotel can control. ”

“I was not expecting an email 24 hrs before check in telling me that there was no front office staff (they call it contact-less check in) to let us in the building. After waiting outside for 15 minutes trying phone numbers (2nd one worked) I got a code for the front door. “This cute little hotel is located very close to the Chinatown gates, bus stops, restaurants. There is a little market up the road for some groceries and cold wine/beer. The pub next door has good food. It is an older building with a narrow winding staircase, but it does have an elevator. It does not have that old building smell, though! “Would highly recommend this spot if you’re in San Fran for an overnight or two! The shared patio has an amazing sunset view and garden. Unit was clean and quiet. Beds, even the pullout couch, was comfortable. Host was a great communicator and very accommodating - allowing us to drop our bags off early at the unit before check in. Parking was easy and free on the street in front of the unit. ”

The listing makes the rooms look clean, but they’re disgusting and ours had a window leading to a ledge right outside the window that anyone could have come onto and broken in. No hot water, even after running it for five minutes. No Wi-Fi. Rude manager.”
