This is a lovely cottage in the heart of a residential area. Close to Santana Row. Clean, neat, and a well stocked kitchen. Pet friendly and quiet. The hosts are kind and communication is quick and easy. The shower was a bit of a challenge and some comedic relief to the event (I turned the wrong knob and gave the entire room a shower). Back in when you park for easier departure, there are cars parked on the street that make it a bit difficult to see when you’re backing out. The owners are friendly and helpful!

The kitchen sink, refrigerator, dishwasher facias were all dirty and streaked. Wine glasses were all dirty and had to be cleaned before they could be used. Medicine cabinet in master bedroom had dirty shelves. After one week we requested clean sheets for master bed. While stripping the bed we discovered there was no mattress cover just a hunk of foam over the thin mattress which was covered in hairs and such. When retrieving a phone that slipped between seat cushions we discovered a lot of dirt and debris under the sofa cushions. Needless to say the small apartment needed a lot of attention before we could get comfortable.

amazing experience! The property manager was very communicative and had timely responses… The only thing I would make sure is that it we the unit had all the correct cooking utensils available but other than that, I absolutely loved it!

They were coming into the house when I left for the day only to come back and find the toilet seat up, a black iPhone in the kitchen and things missing, when I checked in there was NO THERMOSTAT! They insisted that I must close the windows when it was 80 degrees outside. There were men’s belongings that were not removed yo my stay. Do not stay here! These people are crazy!

Perfect Host

This is a cute little house, the perfect stay for two dogs - exactly what the listing says. The host is quick to respond and very pleasant, the neighborhood is active, there are schools in the area and very nice for an evening stroll.

It didn't state that it was directly across from a school and has school pick up and drop off. The street was quite busy most of the day. Also, did not realize there were other units so lots of people going in and out of property.

Not expecting to have multiple rental un same building

We can hear next door rental, especially from the bedroom where we can here water running from the shower and guests would take multiple night showers which wake us up during our sleep. 😞 Kitchen and living room were fine. Air conditioning was quiet. Very well situated near highways but not too close to hear the noise. Quiet surrounding.

Not ideal

The picture of the "room" with the fold out bed is actually the entryway and the bed was covered in dirt and hair on the inside. The bed in the bedroom slumped to the middle and was not comfortable. The shower was not functional for much of our time there. Someone came out to fix it but we continued to have problems with it. The space is separated from the other half of the house that is a separate unit by a curtain with a bookshelf in front of it. The chairs were all badly stained and the place just wasn't very clean.

Shower broken, no wifi info provided, no soap provided, “bed” is a stack of foam pads, ants throughout (including in the bed). Multiple calls texts and messages unreturned. Host dishonest (snd possibly a bot?), claimed to be only blocks away but ppty manager says he’s in Thailand. Request for late check out denied ostensibly because of same-day guests then an hour later asked me if I wanted to buy an additional night. When I finally reached ppty manager all I got was confirmation that the shower didn’t work and a bottle of some non-soap liquid in a soap container. Battery alarm triggered by power outage made house uninhabitable on last day. Finally got access to a shared shower in back where the landlord seems to be running a tenement with people living in tiny apartments that don’t appear to meet the state minimum required living space of 120 sq ft. Lights flicker on randomly. Host never acknowledged lack of shower. His only response was to provide me with the wifi password, four hours after I checked out.
