“The location of the cottage is excellent, right next to the river Esk and on a very quiet holiday park (in April anyway). There is an amazing viaduct over the river where there is bungy jumping every couple of weeks during the summer and you can walk over it into Whitby which is only 30 mins away on foot. “On entering the cottage I was taken aback by the feel and the age of the property. The kitchen is small but very well stocked and perfectly adequate. We shared with friends and it was our turn to have the twin beds on this weekender, the stairs were very narrow and the low beam seemed difficult initially however, it is a lovely room and these small issues were not a problem.
