The house is nice and has plenty of room. However the HVAC and electrical need some serious attention. The AC would not cool. The AC ran nonstop from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. AC was set to 72 degrees and the temperature would fluctuate between 75 and 78 degrees. 2 times the thermostat had a message saying there was a cooling problem because it detected the temperature raising. This made the second floor very hot. I would say it was easily 80 degrees on the second floor for the entire stay. Too hot to sleep most nights. We did contact the owner and a HVAC tech did come out, but the main unit is behind a locked door so all he could do was clean the outside unit and replace a capacitor. It did help a little, but the AC still struggled to cool the house and the upstairs remained very hot.Our 3rd night in the house a large amount of outlets (and some lights) stopped working. On the first floor half of the outlets in the bedroom, Livingroom, and Dining room stopped working. Also a few of the outlets upstairs stopped working. This was a problem because we could no longer run some of the fans second floor. Outlets still were not working when we left.We checked to see if we could stay somewhere else to escape the heat and electrical issues, but it seemed everywhere in Sandusky was booked.
