Amazing time at Villa Melograno

We had an amazing time and the Villa is located in a quiet exclusive neighborhood with a fantastic view of the sea and unspoiled nature. It’s a short walk to a very nice beach.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful week staying at Villa Melograno. The property is very spacious and well equipped and the location and sunset views from the pool deck are fabulous. Ilaria was extremely helpful with suggestions and in responding to requests and the check in and management process was seamless. We would definitely love to return to this beautiful part of the island!

Second time at the villa this one with family. Its an amazing villa with everything you need and more. Having cleaners every day is s bonus. The BBQ and outside dining is fantastic you'll find yourself never leaving . Loved and hopefully ill be back a third time

Gorgeous villa, wonderful week

Just got back from an amazing week with a group of friends at this beautiful villa, celebrating milestone birthdays. We loved everything about it - the location, a short walk to the beach and front stage to gorgeous sunsets, the bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, the pool area, with plenty of seating and lounging for everyone, the many spaces around the house where one could relax, the very well appointed kitchen. The host, Ilaria, was very helpful before and during our stay answering all our questions promptly and giving us lots of tips and recommendations. The housekeeper Chiara was wonderfully attentive throughout the stay. All in all - highly recommended, would go back in a heartbeat!

Amazing holiday accomodation for groups & families

We had a truly wonderful stay at Villa Melograno! It was the perfect place & location for our family holiday - the space really lends itself to quality time, with different areas to utilize & hang out in together without feeling cramped in anyway. The sunset views are something I will never forget! Short drive / walk to the was very convenient. Aircons in every room were so appreciated, along with fully equipped kitchen & a light cleaning service every day! Highly recommend this place :)

Fabulous villa and excellent location.

Very spacious and well appointed villa. Good quality furnishings and fittings. Nice pool with a fantastic view to the sea - perfectly positioned for the glorious Ibiza sunsets. Location too is excellent - nice and quite - surrounded by woodland and only a 10 minute walk to the beach (with beach bar). Also worth checking out lovely restaurant Can Pou at the top of the road. A 10 minute drive and you are in the heart of Sant Antoni de Portmany and it's only 30 mins' drive to the airport. Highly recommended.

Super schöne Ferien an der Cala Salada

Wir haben die Ferien bereits im 2019 für das Folgejahr gebucht. Bekannterweise konnten wir die Ferien im 2020 nicht antreten aber wir konnten die Ferien bei Illaria ohne Probleme um ein Jahr verschieben (und das sagt schon viel aus). Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich durch die Housekeeperin empfangen und fühlten uns wohl. Probleme konnten wir bei ihr melden und wurden am selben Tag behoben. Uns gefielen die Villa super, sie bietet sehr viel Platz und Privatsphähre, wenn man sie denn will. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgerüstet und ansonsten fehlte es an nichts. Unbezahlbar ist der wunderschöne Sonnenuntergang über de Cala Salada ... man sieht, wie die rote Kugel im Meer verschwindet. Alles in allem waren es super schöne Ferien und alle haben sehr genossen. Wir können das Haus ohne Vorbehalt weiterempfehlen!

Great place for a group 5 stars

We have rented the main house in April 2019 with 3 families (12 persons). It was great, house is clean, everything is taken care off (good towels also for the pool). Reason we have chosen for this accomodation is that the pool is heated and that is really necessary in the beginning of the season. The house is organised in a way that you have good rooms for the group (dining table, big kitchen, living room) and also enough privacy. Bathrooms are modern and clean, beds are good. Toys and fun for children of all ages (babies - adolenscents): trampoline, table tennis. We surely recommend this accomodation.

FORMIDABLE MAGNIFIQUE SOMPTUEUX

Nous avons passé amis et famille (12) une semaine formidable dans cette villa très spacieuse, très bien équipée, où tous ensemble, chacun peut se retrouver chez soi. La villa bénéficie d'une situation idéale entre mer et relief, entre Evissa et les criques sauvages, d'un panorama imprenable ( la photo est une réalité) et d'un calme absolu.La piscine est idéalement chauffée pour cette semaine d'octobre qui a bénéficié d'une météo estivale. Petits et grands y ont trouvé leur compte! Nos hôtes même à distance ont pris soin de nous ; voici une villa somptueuse gérée par des hôtes qui y vivent aussi! ce qui change tout au niveau des équipements ( notamment de la cuisine) . Nous reviendrons

A luxurious holiday villa, perfect for a special family celebration

We have just returned from the most memorable family holiday staying in Villa Melograno, celebrating our parent's golden wedding anniversary. We were a group of 7 adults and 5 children. Our group ranged from mid 70's to 1 year old. The villa suited everyone's needs perfectly. We arrived to temperatures of 35c so although most of the family took advantage of the pool or the shaded seated areas outside, we also enjoyed the beautiful living area with it's cool marble floors, views out to sea and air-con! All the facilities in the villa were of a very high standard, every bedroom had a bathroom with good shower and quality linen. It felt luxurious in every room. Everything was available for our baby - stairgates where needed, baby monitor, good sized travel cot, children's plate and bowls, highchair, travel bath, toys. For the older children - when not in the pool - there was table tennis, board games, Sky TV and dvd player. Cala Salada was a great beach for swimming and snorkelling. It's a nice walk down along the path behind the villa. We also went further around the island and would recommend Cala Bassa and Cala Llonga and Ibiza Town. Ilaria has been incredibly helpful right from the point of our booking enquiry and during or stay at the villa. She was available via phone and email to help us and answer any queries we had, and between her and her wonderful housekeeper we were very well looked after. We would highly recommend staying at Villa Melograno and would love to come back one day. We miss those incredible sunsets!

A lovely family holiday in a beautiful home!

Myself and my family spent an amazing one week vacation here at the beginning of June. The property itself was as described within the listing and was beautifully clean upon our arrival. The kitchen was spacious, modernly furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly think of! Although due to the amazing weather we made more use of the numerous outdoor facilities and BBQ areas. There was numerous areas outside to both sunbathe and chill out in the shade and enjoy the incredible sunsets. The whole family loved cooling off in the pool which was both of a good size and very deep. Although we made little use of it, the living room was a great size for entertaining and equipped with Sky, freeview, and a movie projector. Cala Salada beach is extremely beautiful but also extremely busy so getting down there early would be advised! The villa is also well located to access numerous other towns and beaches. Our only (and very small criticism!) is that when the cleaning staff came half-way through our stay they neither changed the bedding nor the towels. We had an extremely enjoyable holiday staying here and we would highly recommend to anyone!

Great villa

The owner Ilaria as well as the local 'agent' did everything to make it a perfect holiday. They even put a heating system in place to heat the pool to a comfortable 28 degrees. the house is very well placed, overlooking a beautiful bay and one can not see the few neighbor villa's. The villa is even nicer than on some of the pictures. Can highly recommend to stay here.

elegant villa in beautiful location

We had a lovely stay for my husband’s 70 birthday – we had organised a family reunion, and it was great to be able to keep everyone happy and entertained – from our 3yr old grandson to his teenager cousins to the adults. The villa is beautifully appointed and very well kept. The view is really superb, and even early in the year the weather was mild and we made full use of the pool terrace and outside dining. We had a feeling of total privacy but it was very easy to contact either the owner Ilaria or the manager and we were very well looked after. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Stay at Cala Salada

We (8 adults and 2 children under 3) spent two fantastic weeks at Villa Melograno in August 2016. The property was as described and was beautifully presented. The kitchen was well equipped to cater for our size of party and there were outdoor cooking / barbequing facilities. There were numerous eating areas inside and outside. The lounge was comfortable with sky TV and a range of audio / visual equipment. All the bedrooms were comfortable, en suites worked well and the master bedroom was sumptuous. The pool was a good size and deep. There were areas to sunbathe and get shade all day. Sunsets could be experienced from the roof and pool terrace. There were plenty of chill areas where couples or individuals could escape and relax. The villa was well child proofed with stair gates internally and externally. We parked three cars comfortably, four could be squeezed in, we did have to defend our spaces occasionally from visitors to Cala Salada. Cala Salada is very beautiful but extremely busy in the high season (you must have entry permits which are provided by the owner), you will need to be on the beach by 10am to get your spot although its only a 5min walk. There's a good family run restaurant at the beach and we found Can Pau very good aswell. Villa Melograno provides an excellent location for accessing San Antonio, Ibiza town and the north and south of the Island without hitting too much traffic. Altogether a very enjoyable holiday for all of our party, we hope to return

Perfect Sunset

I could not have dreamed for a more perfect vacation home. The house was perfect with every detail attended to. Our large family enjoyed the amazing sunsets, the incredible pool, the large kitchen and all the entertainment the house had to offer. We look forward to enjoying the villa in summer of 2016!! I would highly recommend the villa to my family and my closet friends. Brilliant!!

A truly peaceful villa with a stunning view

Just a few words to let you know how much our group of friends enjoyed our time in your gorgeous villa last week. We arrived to find Susi waiting thoughtfully and helpfully to check us in and make sure all was well, even though our flight was delayed by over an hour. She had done some shopping in advance for us, which was so fantastic--it meant we didn't have to worry about getting in so late on a Saturday night when the shops were all shut. There are so many good things we can say about this villa, but the most important one is this: almost everything you could think of needing or wanting is here waiting for you. Every bedroom has its own en suite, which gives everyone a sense of privacy and their own space. Combined with the fact that the indoor and outdoor spaces have so many big and comfortable places to just be, we never felt like we were on top of each other, even though it was a full house. Both inside and outside sound systems, as well as the fantastic home cinema system inside, were amazing and kept everyone entertained. Those of us who are parents noted that the house is great for families with young children too--including loads of kit that is useful but that you would not want to pack with you for a week on holiday. The gourmet kitchen was perfectly and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed to cater for our group of 11, and because of that we ate almost all our meals at home. It also gave us a chance to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets each evening from the terrace! Again, because the pool and terrace were so beautiful, and because the situation of the house is such an amazing mix of forest, sea, and rock, we spent most of our holiday just relaxing in the terraces and by the pool. When we got tired of lounging by the pool and enjoying the view, we took ourselves down to Cala Salada beach, which has the benefit of being known mostly by locals--meaning it is relatively quiet and really lovely. After a week at the villa, we were all agreed that we weren't ready to go. And we can't wait to come back next year!

Fantastic family villa

Stayed here in July and August 2013 with our family of 4 young children, with 3 other families visiting over 3 weeks. Safe for young children and all the gadgets for the rest of the party, with brilliant sunsets and easy beach access. We have rebooked for 3 weeks next summer. The Villa distinguished itself from most of our previous rentals by: - wonderfully equipped kitchen with all new appliances with the added benefit of sea views - two bedrooms separated from main sleeping accommodation perfect for friends - newly decorated and kitted out, with 6 great en suite bathrooms , with great showers - attention to detail in everything, including high quality linen, fittings, doors, beds etc - pool area with several different covered areas affording shade throughout the day - brilliant local beach - we tried a dozen more on the island and rate Salada as one of the best for all ages - very responsive owner, caretaker and maintenance staff, including fixing air conditioning within an hour and sending cleaners in whenever we had a guest changeover - table tennis, trampoline, board games, TV projection, SKY etc - all made it easier for travelling with children - easy access to major roads, shopping and restaurants
