The property was so pretty with decorative touches throughout, and a large comfortable backyard. Refinements like a Keurig coffee maker in the kitchen with coffee and accompaniments, to bikes in the garage with helmets and locks, were a wonderful surprise. We felt that the host was a best friend that couldn’t be there with us that weekend, but wanted to make the time spent a special experience for us. The house is spacious, and in a residential neighborhood, very close to the beach and restaurants in town. We highly recommend this home.

Perfect getaway

The house was the perfect getaway for us ladies in the 40s with bikes available for us to get to downtown. The house is only a few minutes and the sunsets were gorgeous.

Felt so lucky to be there!

My litmus test for whether or not I truly like a rental house is whether I feel lucky to get to stay there. And I certainly did in this case! The master bathroom was massive. The view was stunning. The house was clean and well appointed, and there were so many pleasant places to hang out, both outside and indoors. We had a ball there.A few notes of caution: (1) The house was hard to locate, and if a neighbor hadn't been standing in his yard, pointing us in the right direction, we might still be looking for the place. (2) The thermostat was strangely hard to find, but we prevailed. (3) We never located a garage door remote control. Does one exist? (4) I was looking forward to being on the rooftop deck, but the death stairs made that forbidding, and I certainly don't see how anyone could make that climb with a tray of food in hand. Oh, well. The deck sufficed for an outdoor experience.

Great place and location!

This house is great! We stayed for a weekend for four of us. The deck is really spa like and the house has a great open floor plan. It's nice to be able to use the garage and charge the Tesla. The house is a couple blocks from the park with the best view of SB. You're just a few minutes from State St. We will be back. Thanks again!

Great stay for familes

We stayed for our elopement with our baby and family. We all slept comfortably and it was great having a high chair and pack n play. Plenty of towels and a washer to clean towels and clothes if needed. Lots of accommodations. Overall a beautiful property and would def. Stay again

Beautiful Outdoor Space & Perfect Location

My girlfriends and I stayed here for a long weekend to rest and catch-up. The home is impeccably designed and well-stocked with everything we needed. The outdoor space is next-level. Loved the fire pit and string lights at night. Enjoyed the jacuzzi. Strolled to the beach. Close to shops and restaurants. Everything we hoped for and more!

Amazing property in a fabulous location!

The house was beautiful inside and out! The kitchen was well equipped and served very nicely for making a three tiered cake for my daughter’s wedding. Stress of wedding prep was easily countered with a dip in hot tub and run along the beach. The host was a joy to communicate with! We highly recommend this property!.

Beautiful Santa Barbara Home

This home is beautiful. The backyard is so relaxing and perfect for spending time together! Communication with the owner is prompt and easy. The interior space is exactly as pictured and has everything we needed. Beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are well stocked. The bikes, beach towels, chairs and umbrellas are very handy! State St shops and restaurants (we loved Chads for breakfast and Santa Barbara Fish House for dinner) are a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute bike ride away. The bike ride back is uphill but the path is perfect for riding or walking. A day trip to Solvang and the wineries was fabulous. We also enjoyed The Boathouse restaurant and Hendry’s dog beach a few minutes drive away. Overall, this home is truly wonderful!

Gorgeous Home!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay here. The house is gorgeous, but we really spent all our time in the beautiful backyard!! Five adults and three kids all fit perfectly. Hot tub and fire pit were amazing. The only downside was not getting to stay longer. We hope to come back again one day!!

Perfect place!!

My husband and I plus our son, DIL, and their 5yo and 17 mo children were very comfortable in this nicely-appointed home. Everything needed was there in the house. There were even bikes and a wagon/cart and a hot tub. It’s one block to the ocean! It’s 10 minutes to the zoo. It’s less than 10 minutes to downtown. Great location! Excellent communication with the property manager. A well-run rental! We’d love to come back!

The Perfect Home

This home was the perfect setting for our family. It truly exceeded our expectations and was even better than the pictures. The outdoor space doubled the living space of the home and was perfect for gathering. Two fire pits, a jacuzzi, lounge chairs and a cabana - there was something for everyone. Inside there were many thoughtful touches from a well-equipped kitchen to stocking of coffee, spices and other basic cooking ingredients. Bathrooms included toiletries down to Q-tips and extra toothbrushes. There were real, thriving plants throughout the house and the backyard tropical plantings were gorgeous. The location is great for heading to the beach, hiking in the foothills, biking to the du zone and State Street. Thank you for hosting us. We get up to Santa Barbara to visit our son and would love to stay with you again.

Wonderful Santa Barbara getaway!

Great location! Great house! This was a wonderful getaway for four adult family members. The house seems newly updated and tastefully decorated. The outdoor space is really lovely with two firepit areas, a hot tub, an outdoor BBQ and bar, and lots of lounging. The outdoor area is also landscaped beautifully, and has nice lighting. We used the hot tub, and it was very clean. This home has a master bath with a large ensuite bathroom and double sink. The host provides toiletry amenities in the bathrooms, and lots of towels. There are two other bedrooms, that share a bathroom. The kitchen includes coffee maker, and is fully stocked with spices, some basic pantry staples, and plenty of dishes, glasses, and cooking ware. The home is in a great location in a nice neighborhood, less than a five minute walk to a coast side park. The house is also equipped with bicycles to use, although we never got around to trying those out. The host was always prompt in replying to any questions. Everything was perfect when we arrived, and we did not need to contact him at all during our stay. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to friends visiting Santa Barbara. You cannot go wrong with this property!

Relaxing Santa Barbara Retreat

This home was perfect for our family group of 8 spending a few days in Santa Barbara. The home is well appointed with plenty of bowls, cups, cooking utensils, etc. in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the location is great -- a 5 minute walk to the shore and convenient to downtown. The outdoor space is the highlight, and much thought was put in to making several comfortable seating areas. Lush plantings made us feel like we were in a tropical oasis. Overall a great stay.

Great stay in Santa Barbara - Close to it all

This house was an amazing getaway with friends. It's beautiful & well kept. The owners were responsive to our needs. This property is close to the beach, bike paths and not too far from State Street. It was a perfect location and we will be back!
