The location of the hotel is great, it is a bit out of the town, in the middle of the valley. The garden is amazing and you can walk to the well a bit far down and to the town itself. Thew room was spacious , tasteful and well equipped. The bed was a large and the duvet large enough for 2 people which isn't always the case. “I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think carefully before booking. Our original room was unacceptable. There was a strong smell of damp that triggered my asthma. There appeared to be faeces on a towel and the carpet, the bedding was dirty, pillowcases stained, mould was present, and the bathroom tiles appeared to have bodily fluids on them. The room clearly had not been properly cleaned. To be fair, a member of staff apologised and moved us to another room. However, while...

The single room is tiny with a tiny bed and looks more like a student doss house. No air con, fan doesn't work, no lift to the 3rd floor. Staff often not available at all, has a chintzy looking restaurant in the front but no idea what or if they serve, so many better places to eat, or stay for that matter. Tired.”
