“Not only was the place absolutely gorgeous with the peacefulness of the water, it was just as listed. The place was vey spacious and clean, had everything we needed, internet was great, and the record player was a fun touch to our evening. The host was wonderful! Communication was great and they made sure we had everything we needed. Easy check in process and check out! Would definitely stay here again. ”

“The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.”

“The cottage was immaculately clean and cozy. The hosts thought of every little detail. The view is beautiful, a rare find for a smaller cabin. We rented a truck with 4-wheel drive to get up there and I’m glad we did. The driveway is steep and made of gravel. But it’s worth it! The area around the cottage is flat, so parking is easy as is access to the fire pit. We have rented a few little cabins in the area and this was our favorite!”

“My family had such a great stay. I was able to stay downstairs with wheelchair access and our friends stayed upstairs. Everything was spotless and the yard with the creek was beautiful. Thank you for the wheelchair access from the car parking too. We will definitely be booking here anytime we are in the area. It was perfect for us!”
