Unfortunately, this home is not listed as pictured or described. Immediately upon entering there was a smell of mold/mildew and general look of uncleanliness, as there were cobwebs in nearly every corner of every room. Every dish we pulled out of the cabinet was dirty, making the lack of a dishwasher all the more obvious. The owners were responsive to our contacts and sent a cleaner out to remove the mold on the window a/c unit. However, that did not resolve the issue, but it did make it a little less visually noticeable. Furthermore, there is a need for maintenance that a quick cleaning cannot solve. From the damaged armchair in the main living space, drywall patch in the basement, and exterior door with a patched hole where the doorknob sat previously, this place feels more like a party pad for college kids than a comfortable family getaway. There were knobs missing on several of the lamps and the propane fire table out on the porch, which I would’ve liked to use, but to be honest the exterior cameras made me feel uncomfortable because they were only placed on the back porch areas such as the hot tub and sauna rather than the driveway/main entrance. If this place were more affordable, I probably wouldn’t be writing this review. Not worth the money, the only plus side is the location is near some good food/hiking spots.
