“First off I never stayed here for my dates, so my review is only of the host. The host sent me a message the night before I was scheduled to arrive stating that the furnace was in the process of being replaced and the house was being heated by space heaters, which he said are working out quite well so far, just don’t ask me about my electric bill. I responded that I am not comfortable staying with two young kids and a dog in a house with space heaters. He refused to refund me and actually told...

“We had a great time!!! We snowshoed on the trails in the back and enjoyed the snowy wide open spaces! The place was great for us too - the fireplace so cozy after a day out in the cold! The proximity to lake placid was amazing too!!”

The younger family members really enjoyed the game and exercise room. Others enjoyed the walking trails and nature walks. The kitchen was also amazing making meal prep for our large group easy and convenient”
