With the majority of units located on the beach side of the exclusive Longboat Key island, including several overlooking the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and a handful of others intimately nestled on the bayside, this condominium complex encompasses all the elements of a tropical paradise. The quiet ambiance and relaxed atmosphere of this vacation hideaway, coupled with the natural foliage and perfect location have created a must-see community on Longboat Key. The attention to detail, from the cleanliness of your unit to the manicured grounds, will be evident the moment you arrive. The glorious sunrises, the romantic sunsets, the lush tropical flowers abloom everywhere - you will believe you have found a personal paradise in the Cabana Beach Club. Many of our guests return year-after-year to relax and enjoy the area’s many attractions. Resort amenities include a heated swimming pool, community laundry facilities and complimentary chaise lounges.



    Accommodations: Cabana Beach Club is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key with several units also located on the bay side. Choose from our various unit styles including one-, two-bedroom and efficiency units. Enjoy all the amenities of home in these fully furnished condominiums including TVs, full-sized kitchen or kitchenette, dining room, and modern, beach-styled decorations.

We really enjoyed this property! It was clean and quiet. The beach views were spectacular. We will be back for sure. One word of caution is there is a flight of steps to get up to the property. There is not an elevator.

Great Location with a great view

Enjoyed the view from the balcony and property was in a grate location. It was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. we love Longboat had a very good stay

Long weekend in paradise

Unfortunately it was raining most of the weekend but the property was amazing and the location cannot be beaten.

Quite and relaxing

The place was clean and had everything, it worked well for our family. View of the beach and water from living area and porch. Perfect location to get away, Long Boat is very quite and away from the busy beaches.

Perfect Beach Location

The condo was clean and nicely furnished. It was exactly as pictured. We especially enjoyed the screened patio and the view the beach. There was a nice sandy walkway out to a beautiful, uncrowded beach. We also enjoyed the pool.

Perfect stay

We enjoyed our stay so much that we tried to add an additional night. We loved the balcony with such a gorgeous view and screened porch. Having a washer and dryer was a plus and the furnishings were so lovely. Would definitely return!

4.5 rating - great condo for our needs. Beautiful Gulf view - sunsets every night! Condo was stocked well. Our 1/2 star is bc condo was clean but dusty. Bedding and pillows need to be replaced. Cleaning products would be helpful such as Windex, bathroom cleaner, and counter top plus a broom/pan. We stayed a week and mid-week would like to spruce up and keep things clean and tidy. Overall, our stay was wonderful and location in Longboat was great. Restaurants were in walking distance plus park was beautiful with trails. Beach and view was amazing. Pool was small but suitable and heated. Beach chairs and towels were provided. Neighbors were respectful and friendly. We also grilled dinner! We had a lovely stay!!

A little piece of paradise

What a view and right on the beach. We came down for a short getaway and it was hard to leave. This unit has the best view and it’s like you are literally on the beach. The unit was newly furnished. The beach was peaceful and quiet. The area was nice and non commercialized. It made me want to become a snow bird and spend my entire winter at the beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, a nice, small property on a quiet beach in north Longboat Key. The unit was clean and had all of the amenities that we could have needed. They were doing some maintenance and painting on our building, waking us up early every morning with their talking and music. It would have been nice to have been forewarned when we checked in. Also, if you stay in the building right on the beach, you will have to drag your suitcases through a long path of pebbles and up a flight or two of stairs. The beach was great!

Great location

The location of this condo is great. The amenities that it offers is wonderful especially the washer and dryer. The private beach over the holiday weekend was a major plus. The condo has been updated, but the setup of the master bedroom should be reconfigured. When you enter the room, the door hits the nightstand. The lamps were not plugged in as the outlet is located directly behind the bed in the middle. My daughter was able to get one plugged in. There is a huge armoire that limits the walkway to the other side of the bed. We had to inch the tv closer to the edge on top of the armoire so we could get it plugged in. The other bedroom with the 2 twin beds was very spacious as was the living room/kitchen area. Overall, great condo and location.

Very well maintained. Lots of towels which was great. Walked in to a nice cooled off place. The walk to beach is perfect. Went fishing while there and caught some pompano and a hammerhead shark. The beds are comfortable. It’s awesome that it has washer and dryer. Love two bathrooms. Very clean. They area is perfect. 3 miles from Publix. Quiet.

We saw manatees all week and really took a break from reality. Our only complaint was that the chairs were locked up, sometimes as late as 10 in the morning. That was something new this year.

The unit was beautiful and bigger than we expected. Had everything we needed-fully stocked kitchen, towels, linens, beach chairs, umbrella, pool noodles, you name it! Loved sitting on the screened porch just watching & listening to the ocean (yes, you’re that close!). The entire property is quiet & relaxing. Just an all around fabulous & easy vacation!Also have to give a shout out to the extraordinary Margaret. She checked us in and was just so pleasant and helpful in every way. Margaret is a TRUE GEM...I could rave for days! Thank you Margaret!! If you kayak, try Happy Paddler. Take a tour and you won’t be disappointed by the scenery, stories AND Nick’s awesome sense of humor! We plan to make this our new annual getaway!
