After reports of issues, no one ever tried to make it right. While I understand we are in the woods and insects are around, I never expected for the house to be infested with spiders.We had to do a deep clean of everything before we could even attempt to settle in. The amount of dust, food, dead insects and dirty dishes and linens were disgusting. The mattress on the fold out couch was covered with stains. The bed sheets were covered in someone else’s body fluids. I ended up buying my own sheets just so we could sleep. The water has a strong sulfur smell. It stinks and tastes gross. We bought lots of bottled water. I tried to report that the purifier wasn’t working properly but no one seemed to care. The post topper fell off one night it was raining. My elderly father almost fell over. It looked like it had been glued on before. The outside fire pit area, we couldn’t use. The chairs were covered in moss/mold. One chair had a missing arm. The refrigerator shelf was rigged with masking tape. Downstairs stayed really cold. Almost freezing. The TV kept half screen, blacking out while watching it. The beds downstairs were hard and not comfortable at all. Everything seemed outdated. There were not enough bath towels and rags for everyone. The showerhead downstairs was so dirty, we had to clean it. The sliding glass door to the back door, the latch is broken and we couldn’t lock it.
