4/10
The images made it look sun-filled, but the unit was extremely dark, so we had the lights on in virtually every room even during the day. Had we known, I would have never considered it. We were disillusioned. While it had old world charm, lots of brick, original wood floors, clean and nicely decorated, it left much to be desired. Left a lengthy note for the handyman. One night as we were lying in bed, I heard something at our front door. As it grew louder, I jumped up and threw on a row of lights. Suddenly the door opened, and two men were standing in the doorway. They were just as startled to see us, and we, them. They had booked the house. But I informed him that we were there for two more days. We were all stunned. “Isn’t this 28?” Yes, but the upstairs unit is also #28. Why did two units have the same entry code? Sent a note. However, the next morning, I hadn’t heard anything yet. After we closed the door, my husband said, I forgot to grab something. But our code no longer worked. Got the new code later - it didn't work. Called. The third code worked. There was also a mishap with the invoice. The first one showed a tax of 324. Eventually after contacting both them and VRBO, we were able to get it rectified.Needless to say, we are quite unhappy, and I informed Lucky Savannah that we would like a refund. We will see what transpires. We will never rent with them again.
