Gordon Lane Carriage House

  • New construction "carriage house" on East Gordon Lane. This is a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment above the detached garage. The yard area is shared with the main house. There is no shared interior space. Guests will have a private bathroom & full kitchen. There is a TV in the bedroom as well as a TV in the living room. Guests may use one garage spot underneath the apartment. There is a EV charger in the garage for guest use along with a washer and dryer (please bring your own detergent).

    If you have a boat or a trailer you may pay $25 per day extra to park it in the yard next to the carriage house.

    This spot is about half a mile walking distance to Forsyth Park and River Street. It is close to the downtown grocery store (Kroger) as well as many shops and cafes.

The accommodations were lovely - just perfect for a long weekend getaway for two. The location is walkable to Forsyth Park and downtown and an easy drive to Tybee Island.

The place was clean and well equiped. It was quite easy to get to places by foot and car. The garage was great to keep our vintage car safe and the neighborhood was safe.

Great location for visiting Savannah by foot We parked in the garage and left the car there until we left . It's about 10-15 minutes (walking) to much of the historic district and about 20 to the waterfront. Cottage was well kept and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again

Excellent location, quiet and safe and made it easy to get around the downtown and surrounding area. It was a really great place to spend the week. The apartment was is excellent shape, clean, and comfortable. The dedicated parking was a great perk! Would (and will) stay there again on our next trip!

Check-in instructions were particularly detailed and included photos. Very helpful. Nice, quiet location and plenty of room for two. Parking garage space is extremely convenient. Bed was comfortable. AC/heat worked well. We were very happy.

Amazing location

We loved the location and were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit. The place is very nice and clean. Bed was super comfortable. Neighborhood was safe and quiet. Incredibly lovely place!

Great for a weekend getaway!

Wonderful location for a quick couple weekend getaway. Easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go but off the beaten path enough that it was relaxing when we were there. Comfortable bed and clean and well stocked rental. Definitely coming back!

Sweet apartment in the historic section of Savannah. Walking distance to Forsyth Park, Scad and many more destinations. You have privacy in a comfortable apartment. We loved our stay!

perfect location

The accommodations were very nice. Extremely clean. The location was perfect for walking towards the river and managing to see all the parks. We were able to experience the Victorian architecture as well.

Great stay!

Really enjoyed our weekend stay here. In a nice quiet residential area but close enough that many things were a 15/20 minute walk which we planned on. Clean space, nice amenities, large kitchen area. Highly recommend.

Excellent place for two.

Modern, one bedroom, clean vbro in one of the prettiest sections of Savannah. Withinn 20-30 minutes walking distance of nearly everything in historic Savannah. Parking place is definitely a bonus. Highly recommended.

The house is off of an alleyway so it can be a little confusing to get to but that’s the only “con” for this rental! It was close enough to downtown that we could be there in a 5 min drive but far enough away that you don’t hear noise or music from the bars. The property was super clean and had everything we needed! We’ll definitely rebook the next time we end up in Sav!
