This place was comfortable and convenient. The property is in an old house, and there isn’t a straight edge in the place. If funky is a problem for you, this will be difficult. But it is in a great location and has off-street parking. However, it is downstairs, and if there are upstairs neighbors, you will hear every footfall. Our first night there was great; the others, there was a group upstairs (we speculated a family with kids there for a sports event?). They ran up and down stairs and stomped around until 3 am and then were up again at 7. We heard everything. If you bring earplugs, probably not a big problem.

Not quite luxury. The bathtub surround is truly an accident waiting to happen. And the bit of black mold creeping into the ceiling above water heater area? Hmmm… but otherwise was as advertised. Clean. Quiet. Nice.

The host seemed welcoming even though we message each other before my arrival. The amenities were great except a minor fixture issues that I mentioned in my previous message after leaving the house. The amenities stood out because it lends to the homely lifestyle needed to enjoy a vacation. I also love the location which is in the heart of Savannah’s historic district including the river front!

Comfortable & Quiet

This was a lovely place to stay. Very safe, quiet, comfortable and clean. They do need to repair the tiles by the back door. They are a little unsafe but not enough to concern me too much. The floors slope but it is a historic house. It has been updated and is decorated nicely. The location was very close to my daughter and it was nice to have a place to park.

Clean apartment in interesting older house

The property was very clean. It was well laid out. We would have liked a box of facial tissue and some body wash, but other than that it was well supplied. Both the back door and back gate scrape loudly when closed and need a little work.

Perfect location

We enjoyed the neighborhood location and available parking. The 1890’s home has all the modern comforts. The front porch was so inviting and we used it daily after sightseeing. We will definitely return in the future.

Sunny Savannah Getaway

The description of the property was spot on! It was located just a short walk to Forsythe Park, Kroger and Jones Street. Check in was a breeze and the place was spotless.The house had all of the charm we were expecting. We loved having the extra 1/2 bath and the offstreet parking (which we only used our last night there).As to the comments about the "sketchy" neighborhood: Savannah is a city and like most cities, there are areas where you need to be aware, at night. The immediate area was very nice, tree lined and the homes were well kept. The homes are selling in the range of 1 to 2 million, if that helps anyone with their decision.We absolutely would consider staying here again when we return to Savannah!
