Our family had a fantastic stay in Savannah! The apartment was spacious, clean, and very comfortable—plenty of room for everyone to unwind. But what truly made this place special was its location and character.Nestled in a beautiful historic home, the apartment had that classic Savannah charm with tall windows, elegant details, and a peaceful vibe that made us feel right at home. We were just steps away from the city’s most iconic squares, amazing restaurants, and the riverfront. Being able to walk everywhere was a huge plus, especially with kids in tow.The free parking is also a plus, located in the alley behind the house, it is a tight fit for larger vehicles; however, we were able to navigate in our Honda Odyssey. The stairs leading directly into the unit were steep but so convenient.If you’re looking for a stay that blends comfort, history, and unbeatable access to Savannah’s best spots, this is it. We’d love to come back!

The home was just beautiful. It was like going back in time to a very historical era. It was convenient to downtown Savannah. I loved the courtyard next door. Found a great restaurant around the corner, Clary’s and Leopolds. The St John’s Cathedral was extremely beautiful.My only complaints were that there was not ice available in the freezer, noise from upstairs unit. Overall, our stay was pleasant and relaxing.

beautiful neighborhood and flat but lots of rules

I loved the neighborhood, it is so very Savannah. The flat was nice and had a spacious master and kitchen. The layout was a little strange. The back bedroom's bed was not comfortable and the back door of that room felt a little sketchy, my daughter did not want to stay in there by herself. There was a blow up mattress but it was hard to find at first. The welcome info had more rules than I have ever seen. We are a quiet not messy family that always follow rules but the amount of rules listed made me feel less welcome than other vacay rental we have stayed at. If the police are called for ANY reason you will be evicted!? And if you call for anything (where is the blow up mattress since we arrived late in the evening) they deem a non emergency you are charged a fee. There is not laundry detergent provided. We thought since it advertised a washer and dryer that it would have detergent to use but unfortunately it did not. There were a ton of redhot candies spilled in the living room upon arrival. Like all around the couch and side tables. It seems like if it had been vacuumed those would have been cleaned up, since they were so large and noticeable so made me skeptical of cleanliness. After booking I called the day after the refund was available because decided we actually would feel more comfortable in a hotel and tried to cancel and there was no wiggle room even within less than a 24 hour missed time. Over all neighborhood was great but wish we had stayed somewhere else.

Beautiful apartment in ideal location in the historic district

The apartment itself is spacious, with a well-designed layout and exceptionally high ceilings, which enhance the sense of openness and luxury. The listing photos accurately represent the space. The location is excellent, within walking distance of both Forsyth Park and River Street. The beds and pillows are soft. The kitchen is equipped with essential items. We also visited the pool on Tybee Island, which was in excellent condition and offered ample shaded seating areas. Despite the many positives, we could not give this property a five-star rating due to the lack of outdoor seating. Prior to booking, we saw an image of a deck with a small circular table and two chairs, but after completing our reservation, we could no longer locate this photo. During our cancellation period, we contacted Southern Belle to confirm that the deck was accessible and were assured that it was. However, upon arrival, we discovered that while the deck does exist, guests do not have access to it. The windows leading to the deck are permanently sealed and reinforced with exterior bars, preventing access. In fact, all windows throughout the apartment are similarly secured, making it impossible to open them for fresh air.Lastly, while the listing describes the apartment as "newly furnished," none of the furniture appeared to be new. That said, all pieces were in good condition, with nothing visibly damaged or in need of repair.

Cozy Accommodations and Great Location

My husband and I decided not to exchange gifts this year but rather travel to someplace we have never been to. Savannah did not disappoint. This property is close enough to walk to everything but far enough away not to get caught up in the crowds. The parking spot provided was a plus and the beds were super comfy. The only downside was the people above us. There is not much of a sound barrier so you can hear everything. Other than that, highly recommend.

Location and history

This was a great historic property with plenty of space and a great location. We enjoyed the tall solid doors old hardware in the space. The kitchen was a good size and we liked the full since fridge with filtered water. The beds were comfortable and the furniture seemed decent for a rental.

Downtown Dream

This apartment is perfect for a family trip to explore downtown Savannah! Everyone in my family was happy with the booking. The furniture and architecture were a huge standout and a truly great addition to the perfect location, walking distance from downtown. Highly recommended to stay here!

Beautiful taste of historic Savannah

This place is a beautiful taste of historic Savannah with all the modern amenities. I loved experiencing a place with all the period furnishings and 12 ft ceilings and beautiful woodworking. We had a very comfortable stay and slept great! Never moved the car after we parked it. Walked everywhere without issue!

Amazing location and an amazing VRBO property

When I first saw the pictures of this rental, I thought there was no way this was what the property would actually look like. Wow, were we surprised when we arrived and walked through the door. This place is amazing! The kitchen is actually that big. It was like stepping back in time to the 1800's but with modern touches. All of the appliances are newer and of course there is central air. The beds were comfy and the place was immaculate when we arrived. Parking is around the back in the lane/alley. There is a narrow, spiral staircase that leads to the parking lot. I can see how some people would have a hard time going up these stairs, but we had no issues with it. If you find the stairs difficult to navigate, just walk out of the front door and around the block to the parking area. The rental home was stunning and we were amazed by the high ceilings and tall doors. There were plenty of towels and the management company reached out to us upon arrival to make sure everything was good with the property. We had no need to contact them during our stay as everything was perfect. The location is fantastic. We walked pretty much everywhere. Downtown is maybe a 10 minute walk. We spent time on Tybee Island as well, which was a 1/2 hour drive. Make reservations before arriving at Vic's on the River and The Olde Pink House for dinner. You won't be disappointed. If we return to Savannah, we'll definitely book this property again.

Great home in Savannah

We had an amazing time in Savannah at this property! This is the second time we have stayed with this property management company and they are top notch! The house is better than described in the listing and perfectly located within walking distance of everything. The pool on Tybee is just the cherry on top. The only thing I would change is the back door doesn't have an access code and that is where you park, so you either have to drop someone off in front to let you in or walk around the block and enter the front after you park, which is really not a big deal, but that is something that would make the stay better. But overall it is an excellent place to stay in Savannah and we will definitely be staying again in the future.

Large comfortable beds and comfy couch. Kitchen had a large round table nice for groups to play games or share a meal. Coffee supplied which is critical for my sister and I. Close to restaurants and walking distance to the Riverwalk.

Savannah Getaway

We recently stayed at this location to celebrate a birthday during our stay in Savannah. It was centrally located and easy to walk most everywhere. Once we parked the car in the designated spot, we didn’t have to move it the entire stay! The property was as listed and absolutely beautiful. It had the historic Savannah Southern charm we were looking for. The property management group was great at answering questions that we had when we were on site. Overall, this was an amazing stay, and we would definitely book this location again!
