Seven gals from MN stayed for 4 nights and we loved it so much. Lisa was the BEST host ever. We got in early before check in and Lisa had the place ready so we could go right from the airport to the VRBO. It was stocked nicely and she gave us a wonderful welcome gift. This house has everything you can think of for your stay. Owner makes herself available for accommodations or questions. Beautiful views! Beautiful home. Perfect location on the water. Pool kept us cool! Enjoyed fishing. Not far from Tybee. Close to Savannah and good eats. This was our second time staying here. We hope we can go back! Great for a family get away or even for couples! 10/10 recommend. No issues!

We stayed at the Moon River house in early March as both of our college age kids were on spring break. The house is as beautiful as in the photos and it’s in a really great location. Downtown Savannah was only 20-25 minutes away, airport was close, as was golf and some great local sites and restaurants. The view from the back deck is amazing. Lisa is a fabulous host, can’t wait to return!

We just got back from an awesome stay at this VRBO and it was the perfect family getaway. The house is huge, in great condition and super clean. It’s a fantastic spot for a family meetup with plenty of space for everyone to hang out without feeling crowded.The neighborhood is beautiful and felt really safe, and it was super easy to get around and explore everything Savannah has to offer. The house itself is also loaded with great amenities that made our stay even better. Our host was great and super helpful and welcoming! a total rockstar. We had the best time and will definitely be back next time we're in Savannah!

We do lots of VRBO's and this host is the BEST! On top of the home being absolutely immaculate and inviting, the host made the stay fabulous. This location is by far the best. You are right on the river! The house has everything we needed to made our weekend perfect! We have family that lives in Skidaway island so this house was perfect for us. We were 15 minutes from there and 20 minutes from midtown Savannah. Even though this is a very remote place, Uber was available late night to pick up some of our family not staying with us. The beds were so comfy. IT'S PERFECT! Lisa was extending helpful and attentive. We can't wait to come back in the summer so we can use the pool.

A beautiful home in a great location. Incredible views, well appointed, very roomy, and comfortable. I rented this for my out of town guests who were visiting over the New Year's week. They said it was one of the nicest VRBO properties that they have stayed in! I will definitely rent this again the next time out of town guests come to town!

House is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. We had a gorgeous view of the river. The house itself is beautiful, clean and inviting. There were six of us staying for my daughter‘s 30th birthday and there was plenty of space for us all. All 4 bedrooms are large. Plenty of parking space outside. Pool is also large and clean although It was a little too cool for us to swim. Kayaks and floats available for the river. Would definitely stay here again!

LISA is a great host. The house is set up very well for privacy in your bedrooms, but the gathering areas are very nice. The decorating is well done also. We were unable to enjoy the pool because it had gotten cold, but it looked very inviting. Easy check-in and everything was very clean. I would recommend staying here..

I cannot say enough good things about this rental, the host and our stay.There were 3 generations of us and the lay out of this house ensured there was more than enough space to not feel cramped. The pool size and back porch area was very nice and the kids and adults enjoyed the fishing. I think the 10yr olds won the 'who caught the most' challenge.Lisa is the absolute best host we have rented with. We had the opportunity to meet her and her husband upon arrival and they were just as friendly in person as was all communication from booking to departure.The house is in a safe and quiet neighborhood and close to going into Savannah for the day. We would love to have the opportunity to stay here again in the future.Thank you Lisa for allowing others to share your family home.

The house on Moon River is the perfect marriage of comfort and outdoor accessibility. We brought our boat with us and the proximity of the boat ramp and floating dock at the house made it a breeze. We caught plenty of redfish and blue crabs from the dock out back. If you want to get off the beaten path to fish and enjoy the outdoors this place checks all the boxes. Owners were super easy to work with and check in/out was very easy.

the house is so spacious and laid out perfectly to give everyone enough space. It is a truly relaxing environment. If you love comfortable beds, swinging on the porch, swimming in the pool (that has some great shade!) and boating/fishing....this is the place for you!

Beautiful Home and Great Location! Lisa is very responsive and a wonderful host. The younger adults enjoyed the pool and did a bit of fishing off the pier. The house had everything we needed....accommodations were very comfortable with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. I highly recommend Moon River House! We are hoping to book again for our next Savannah trip!

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend getaway with the entire family! Although the house had TVs in every room, we never needed them—there was just too much to enjoy outside. Between the sparkling pool and the gorgeous dock, there was always something to do: fishing, kayaking, swimming, or simply relaxing by the water. The home was spotless and decorated with a charming beach theme that made it feel cozy and welcoming. Our host was excellent—quick to respond and so helpful with any questions. Most importantly, The Moon River House gave our family the perfect place to unwind, laugh, and make lasting memories together. We're already planning our next trip to return!

Majestic Setting

My family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home, which has a majestic waterfront setting, for my Mom's 80th birthday. Lisa was an absolute pleasure to work with in coordinating our visit. This property is a rare find and highly recommend!

Lisa was the hostess with the mostess!! Seriously the house was stunning, very clean, well stocked with all the things in the kitchen. The pool was amazing and you cannot beat the deck with a cup of coffee and that sunrise. Absolutely 5 stars!
