“ Nos quedamos una noche, viajamos con 2 niños (9 y 11 años) y estuvimos muy cómodos. Nos hospedamos en un cuarto con baño privado. Es fácil Salir a hacer caminatas y hay un supermercado cercas para comprar cosas pra cocinar. La cocina es amplia y tiene todo lo que se necesita”

“Access is a bit difficult and the no noise rule after 10pm was not imposed so it took a while to go to sleep. Nevertheless installations are good and clean and the location is simply perfect to wake up and go in a hiking”

“The staff are angels on earth! Karl helped me fix a ferry/bus schedule problem and saved me from being stranded across the island in the dark. Lorna saved me from another transportation oversight I made, connecting me with a taxi driver that kept me on schedule. Without them my whole trip to Islay would have been a disaster, but instead, it was wonderful! Oh, and the hostel is lovely, clean, informative, and peaceful. ”

“Great property overlooking the loch. Easy walk to the square. Facilities excellent and staff helpful. If you can’t walk too well a lot of steps but other than that a great hostel in a beautiful area. Co op in market square and coffee shops gift shop and fuel. ”
