We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Cat House! Everything was just as pictured, comfortable beds, beautifully curated decor, and we loved the porch swing bed and fire pit! The owners were very attentive and quick to respond to any concerns or questions we had. Would love to stay here again in the future and highly recommend for families/friends traveling to Mammoth Cave National Park, as it’s less than 40 min away and still nearby some great stops like Paradise Point, Rusty’s Lakeside Pub & Habegger’s Amish Store. We had a blast and enjoyed this home so much! They have thought of everything! Thank you Ciera for a great stay.

A little issue with flies due to cattle farm across the street. Water pressure could be better. I was actually expecting 3 bedrooms plus the bunk room, but we made if fine. Exterior could be a little better kept. Fire pit is ready for replacement. Overall comfortable though.

Fun and Relaxing Family Time

We stayed three days and three nights with our large family. We had a great and relaxing time! The lake house is beautiful, and we particularly enjoyed playing card games on the deck with screened-in porch one evening. We plan to stay again in the future. I highly recommend.

Glasgow High Class of ‘88 girls weekend

This is our 2nd year staying at TBCLH and we love it!! Booking and check in are easy. The owners are very accommodating and quick to respond to messages before and during our stay. The lake house is absolutely gorgeous and extremely clean!! The kitchen is stocked, including regular cook maker and Keurig! The view from the screened in porch has a fabulous view of the lake! Our group decided that TBCLH will be our gathering place from now on! If we could give it 10 stars, we would!! Book it, you won’t be sorry!!

Blue Cat was a great place and my friends and I had such a great time staying at this property. The views of the water on the back porch were amazing. This rental was beautiful and very clean. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking to stay at Barren Lake.

Gorgeous patio!

My family of 4 adults spent most of our time on the gorgeous screened in patio with swinging bed. We cooked meals in the nicely stocked modern kitchen and ate outside. Nice location for days trips to several places we were interested in: bourbon tour, cave tour & Corvette museum. Wheelchair accessible lodging is hard to find & Blue Cat Lakehouse was perfect for us.
