“The staff went out of our way to make us feel welcome. We received a welcome basket with local treats when we arrived and breakfast delivered to the room every morning. There was a happy hour with wine, beer and charcuterie each evening. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was modern and a good size. We have already recommended it to several people and will definitely stay again if we’re in the area.”

“We loved a one night stay at Riverside cottages. We were there for a graduation from college of Charleston. And our whole family had a beach house at Folly Beach so we decided to just rent one of the bedrooms in the cottages. It was very pleasant. Everything was clean a good night sleep. The bed was comfortable. The next morning was a great surprise. “Pluses: Roomier than pictures show, good location with parking spot, fridge and Keurig. Minus: Barn door wouldn’t close for bathroom, noisy bathroom fan, batteries out on under counter lights and fan remote. ”

“Comfortable. Quiet. Loft upstaies has 2 full-sized beds & 2 twin beds. Though the cottage does not have an iven; you won’t need one. They have a toaster oven, hot plate w pots & pans. And a BBQ grill. Though not in the historic part of Charleston; it’s a quick trip over the bridge. And near Folly beach. Super attentive hosts. ”
