“Great cosy feel place to stay. Staff and service were really good, and food (breakfast and dinner) was fabulous. Restaurant staff were attentive, polite and ran the whole show with military precision, well done! Only downside, we were in room 2 and next door (room 3?) had their TV on at night which felt like it was in our room, so walls perhaps quite thin, as we could hear it all. Other than that great place with easy parking too.”

“Really comfortable, quiet and clean bedroom, the bathroom was on the small side and not as nice as the rest of the room (still nice enough). The staff were friendly but seemed very busy so they just gave us the key and pointed us in the direction of the outbuiling where our bedroom was located. If you have heavy luggage or struggle with stairs our room would not be for you as there were some very steep stairs.”

“Upon Arrival we were given a friendly greeting by The Barman and also a local gentleman who was seated at the bar. The barman checked us in & provided us with the room key 🗝️. Gave us Breakfast Details Times etc. We stayed for 3 Nights Upon arrival the room was beautiful prepared for our arrival. We stayed in Room 2 Triple Room for three people. The room was nicely laid out and a great size accommodation for 3 people. The next morning our room was beautiful cleaned Towels restocked....

“Booked a double room but got a room with 3 single beds. Not the end of the world but not what I booked. Beds were uncomfortable. Mattress was really thin, when you sat on it you were basically sat on the bed base and when you laid on the bed you could feel the springs in your back and side. The walls were wafer thin, you can hear the tap running and toilet etc from the room next door. Also the water in the bathroom made a right racket when you ran the tap, shower or flushed the toilet. “Room was nice and clean and as a family of 5 it was nice to be all in one room. Unfortunately the room was above the kitchen and it was boiling most of the night. The hotel gave us fans and we had the windows open but didn’t help much. Staff were nice and the breakfast was good and included in the price of the room.”

“Lovely room. We booked the dog friendly room and we had dog bowls, and a doggy treat pack including toy, treats & poo bags. Nice little touch! Great food as always, lovely full English breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.”
