We had a lovely stay at this very beautiful home! Meli is a great host! Easy to communicate with and she very thoughtfully pulled out all the stops to make our anniversary special! The home is clean, well organized and comfortable, meets all your needs. The views of the ocean are incredible! Short drive to Cannery Row/Aquarium. Perfect house, perfect host, we will be back again!

My entire family loved staying at this property. The view was beautiful, and it was a short drive to all the places that we needed to go. The house was extremely clean and well decorated, with all the amenities that we needed. The neighborhood was also very quiet.

This was our 2nd time at this property. Love everything about it including it is close to lots of tasty eats, Laguna Seca Raceway, downtown Monterey and a great view. Meli takes wonderful care of us and goes above and beyond. Looking forward to our next stay!! Highly recommend this property!!!

What a memorable spot! Definitely one of our favorite VRBO! The home was perfectly set up to relax, play, cook & enjoy the view, even with a rainy day. We appreciate that we had everything we needed, even some special treats from the Owner.

We stayed at what my kids call the blue house. We had an amazing stay where everything was just perfect. It looks like Meli the host knew exactly what my kids would enjoy and had toys tailored just for them. The views from the house was phenomenal. We got to downtown Monterey in 10 mins for all our planned activities and came back to the house for a good relaxing evening. Communication with the host was great and were on top of everything. They even accommodated late checkout was really sweet of them. We had a wonderful weekend at Sand City. Thank you once again.

This property was fantastic. Meli was a wonderful host who kept in contact every step of the way and was very responsive. The property has a beautiful view of Monterey and is in a centralized location that is is not far from downtown. The upstairs living room is nice spacious and was able to accommodate our Christmas Dinner with all the supplies and amenities needed to prepare our meal. The master bedroom is beautiful and the bathroom was large with unique amenities like photo therapy! The toilet was also a very high end toilet with an electronic bidet. Very luxurious. The downstairs has 2 spacious rooms and a bathroom with high ceilings. My niece and nephew enjoyed their room and I was able to sleep comfortably in the 1st floor bedroom. The property has plenty of dishes sheets pillows and centralized heating to make everyone comfortable. This was the perfect place for our vacation. Meli also noticed us of a few items we left behind and gave my family an opportunity to coordinate a delivery. Excellent host and property would definitely recommend to other renters.

The house was perfect and filled with all the amenities you'd need or want from a vacation rental. The host was very responsive and friendly, with a smooth check-in and check-out process. We even got an early check-in and late check-out for no extra cost. The only downside is the neighborhood is weirdly industrial and the beach is actually on the other side of a highway. But we still managed to find our way on foot.

We had a fantastic stay at this location. Home is well organized and well thought out. The host is wonderful and even had goodies waiting for us upon arrival. Cleaning service went above and beyond. View was wonderful. Location was perfect as it was close to the race track and lots of eating options nearby. I will be aiming to stay here again next year when we race Laguna Seca. Exceptional!!!

What an incredible place! It was perfect for our family vacation in the Monterey area. Conveniently located to everything but tucked away in a great little neighborhood. Melí goes above and beyond with all the extra little details and was very easy to communicate with.

My adult children and grandkids enjoyed our stay! Meli thought of everything a guest could need including toys for the kids! We enjoyed the fire pit on the balcony while we saw the beautiful sunset! The house had a nice layout. The bedrooms were cozy! She even has beach gear we could have used, but our stay was too short this time to enjoy them but we do plan on returning maybe later this year or next summer. Thank you Meli you are the best!

We loved our stay at meli's place! It was honestly the best VRBO I have ever been to and we have rented quite a few. Meli put so much effort in making her guests feel welcomed from the amazing communication to the gift basket and even toys/play area in the garage! It was awesome! This was the easiest VRBO that we have ever stayed in. Early check in, no problem, running late on the checkout, no problem, had a quick question, no problem. I’m telling you Meli was the most accommodating hostess that I’ve ever had. The house, is gorgeous, with a view of the bay. She left a gift basket (only time ever in any VRBO). Coffee and tea with creamer in a little tower, I mean, who does that, awesome. The house was decorated as though it was our house, with little knickknacks, candles, pictures and on and on. Other places are bland and void of personality, not here, completely felt like home. When you stay here you will be completely comfortable like we were, you will be able to talk in front of a fire in the front room or on the deck, like we did. But most importantly, you will be able to relax and enjoy the home with your friends and family. Yes, I highly recommend you stay at Meli’s place.

We had an amazing weekend in Monterey and the home was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing and beach going. The home was super clean, close to the beach, amazing view on the balcony! Home was well appointed with everything we needed! Definitely would stay again! And the owner was so easy to work with! We were a group of 8 with children, teenagers and adults, and this home was a perfect fit for us. The property is beautiful and spotless, and there is a small playground across the street that the kids can play at. Meli was extremely responsive, often responding within 5 minutes of an inquiry. Overall, the place is in a gorgeous location, has great views and the customer service was great. We'd definitely stay here again.

First of all, we'd like to highlight what a wonderful and attentive host Meli was. She rolled out the red carpet for us and made sure everything was perfect before, during, and after our stay. The place is exactly as how it's presented in the listing, beautiful views of the sunset and ocean. We even saw a pod of whales in the bay our first day there! It's also perfect for families with children. There are strollers, pack and plays, toys, etc. for all ages. There is a great small playground across the street and a giant sand dune that entertained the kids for hours. We enjoyed this trip immensely and a lot of that experience had to do with Meli. Would book again in a heartbeat!
