Nuestra casa se encuentra justo en el paseo marítimo de la playa de Oregon y tiene amplias vistas panorámicas del océano fuera cinco grandes ventanales en la parte delantera de la casa. Disfrute de la observación de ballenas, los surfistas y los turistas que caminan por la Prom. La terraza en la parte delantera hace que sea muy agradable sentarse y tomar el sol o leer mientras disfruta de la música de su dispositivo de música grabado personal y las hermosas vistas del océano.

La casa ha sido totalmente remodelada con granito y encimera de mármol tapas en todo, pisos de cerámica en algunas áreas y las maderas duras en otros. La remodelación de los baños incluso incluye calefacción por suelo radiante. Sin embargo, mantuvimos la sensación cálida y acogedora que trae una chimenea de roca de río en la playa, especialmente cuando es tormentosa.
En mayo de 2017 realizamos algunas remodelaciones importantes en el exterior de la casa aplicando una mancha alemana al ladrillo, así como muchas otras mejoras que pensamos que harían su estancia más agradable.

En mayo de 2016 se remodeló la planta superior de la casa para dar cabida a un concepto más abierto y convertirlo en un ambiente agradable para los niños. Con sillas de puff para ver películas y una televisión de alta definición de 50 "con un reproductor de DVD, los niños tendrán una pelota. También hicimos algunas modificaciones importantes a la "cueva del hombre" y el cuarto de servicio. En la "Cueva" hay una "televisión de alta definición 50 con cable y una bonita chimenea de gas caliente para que los amantes del deporte pueden disfrutar de sus juegos en un retro-bar y luego tomar una siesta. También hay una mesa de futbolín. Y hay reproductores de DVD en cada planta para que pueda ver películas, así como un par de reproductores de VHS para películas antiguas hayan traído. La casa también está cableada, en todo el interior y también en la cubierta, para que pueda disfrutar de su música grabada en el piso superior, el piso principal y afuera en la terraza.

La cocina, que fue remodelada recientemente, tiene asientos en la mesa para al menos 10-12 para esas reuniones familiares o grupos más grandes. También proporcionamos una silla alta para los más pequeños. Sé que hemos construido algunos recuerdos maravillosos mientras se está sentado y comiendo.

Todos los televisores en toda la casa están configurados para ver películas. Además tuvimos la zona de calzada y aparcamiento resurgió este otoño por lo que queda muy poco podríamos mejorar.

Para concluir queremos señalar que del 15 de junio al 15 de septiembre, sólo se alquila por la semana de sábado a sábado. El resto del año tenemos un mínimo de dos noches, excepto semana de tres días, donde el mínimo es de tres noches.

Gorgeous views, tons of fun, fantastic hosts

We give this house 5 stars. Maybe others would complain because the fridge was glitchy when we arrived (since replaced). The hosts were upfront with the challenged and very concerned for our needs. It all worked out. Excellent communications and problem solving. The beds were comfy, the towels were plentiful, the games were many, varied and fun. Plenty of parking, etc, etc, etc.. we would stay again in a heartbeat. I bet during storm season the views are even more spectacular. And such a nice easy stroll to the beach!

Wonderful Mother’s Day weekend!

We rented the house to enjoy Mother’s Day weekend with family and friends and had a blast! We will definitely be back. The beach is right outside the front door. There were enough rooms for everyone. The different levels allowed the kids to have areas to be in while adults could be in the kitchen. Everything was accurate. Easy check in and check out with great access to cooking supplies. Fam Beach Vaca

The house was great. Had a week at the beach with my family and my parents. The house had everything we needed and plenty of room to spread out. Views from the house were gorgeous! This was only matched by the direct path access to the beach! Close enough to the main down town but far enough that the beach felt private. Loved every minute!!

Family, friends and kids

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and all the amenities. Right on the Promenade and steps from the beach. Check in was a breeze. Plenty of room for all of us. The weather didn't cooperate, which is normal for this time of the year, but we had such a great time hanging out together and this is a great place for that. Thank you to the hosts!

Family gathering 40 yrs old borth

Nice, but not ADA, and I wrongly thought all property's would ha e to disclose, if it wasnt. So sadly the person whose birthday it was for, had to get a different place to stay and so we weren't all together

New Years gathering

Well stocked kitchen, plenty of bathroom towels, three roomy gathering spaces, plenty of parking (we had five cars at times), excellent location, lots of things to do, near restaurants. We were a family group ages 4 through 78 & everyone had a great time.

Very well-equipped, comfortable, excellent location

My 3-generation family of 10 people & 2 dogs stayed here for 3 nights Thanksgiving weekend and had a fabulous time. Within easy walking distance of the market, beautiful view of the ocean with a private path to the beach. Quite a hike to the strip (gift shops, restaurants, etc.) but the 7-year old was able to do it. This was definitely the best equipped home I have ever rented: all the utensils & pans you could need, plentiful supply of TP/PT/etc., a baby gate for the dogs, books, games, toys, plentiful towels, the list goes on. Spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable, house is snug (maintained heat well in cold weather, no leaky windows), water pressure great, and the heated bathroom floors are a dream. Things to be aware of: not a new upscale dwelling (the well-maintained front may give that impression); this is an old home with character and some inevitable maintenance needs. The advertised sound system, DVD player, and fireplace were not usable (the TVs are new and work great; we brought a Roku stick and so could stream using our own subscriptions). The stairs are quite steep but have a nifty motion-triggered night/safety light. The 'open-format' bedroom with queen and multiple twins is upstairs and one must walk through it to get to the other two bedrooms and bathroom, but it is spacious, has its own TV, and a neat little cubby with beanbags. All queen rooms are roomy enough for a dog kennel, bags, etc. All hard floors with throw rugs. Definitely recommend.

Fun family getaway

Very comfortable house, great location-walk to beach and fun kid stuff in Seaside. Tricky sleeping arrangements if you have 5 couples...one bedroom has a twin bed and barely room for a cot on the floor. But the couch works. Great kitchen/dining area for cooking and visiting at the same time.

Perfect family beach retreat!

This property was perfect for our family! The ocean views and location/proximity to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and in-town activities couldn't be better. Marcie was great with communication...there were some outside repairs that needed to be done, and she was clear about what and when to expect it -- easy! This is an older home with well-done upgrades (love the heated bathroom floor!), while maintaining all the character and charm!

First Oregon Coast Visit

Great place to stay and enjoy all the area’s natural beauty! We had plenty of room to spread out, beds were comfy, and the kitchen was well stocked. Loved the short walk to the beach, sound of crashing waves by which to fall asleep, and the quaint downtown to explore. Plenty of fun for all ages!

Nailed it

I was hesitant to leave such a good review. Only because we want to rent this property again and don’t want any competition! The location was perfect, the space was perfect, the kitchen amenities also perfect. The beach is steps away, wonderful walking on the promenade just through the front gate, and top notch people watching from the deck. Terrific place and setting!

Lovely long weekend

Love this property. Its location on the prom was fun for people watching, close walk to the beach, comfortable setting. The amenities provided were excellent (comfortable beds, nice furnishings, kitchen well stocked with all we needed). Would highly recommend this property.

Enjoyable beach weekend

This house was great for our group of eight. Large comfortable kitchen, huge dining table, cozy living room with gas fireplace, great yard for lawn games or just relaxing in the sun. We really appreciated the early check-in and late check-out!

Adult party of 7 & a pup. This was our 2nd time staying here and we love it. The house is as described. Large home with plenty of space right on the promenade with ocean front views. Walkable to everywhere. Safe comfortable home with plenty of parking. Can’t wait to stay again.

2021 Prom House

The home was perfectly located to town and other attractions. Beach was awesome! Only odd thing was the basement was damp and did smell of mildew. I kept emptying the dehumidifier. We didn’t use the basement. The floors and handrails were sticky and we had to wipe them down. The bedding must have been washed in heavy bleach, very strong smell.
