  • Enter your private hideaway through the lower French Doors. You will find a spectacular view of Puget Sound-Two large bedrooms, both with a Queen Bed, a small but complete kitchen, and a living room/dining room combination.
    Walk out your living room to a large patio with a 180 degree view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.
    We are on a dead end road, just 10 minutes from Sea-Tac airport, and 20 minutes from downtown Seattle.
    Close to numerous attractions, or secluded enough to just relax and enjoy the view for a few days.
    I have been listed on VRBO/Homeaway since 2004. My original listing is #43344-with about 100 reviews. This is a new listing just about 2 miles from my original listing.

This was THE PLACE to be for a Seattle vacation. My family and I felt so positive about the locale, the gracious hostess and amenities that we felt right at home. I can’t say enough good things about the hostess except to thank her for her hospitality, attentiveness and commitment to our complete satisfaction. We will be back and when we do, we’ll stay here. Oh and one more thing- the view was just breathtaking.

Check in was very straightforward and Ron was very good with communicating expectations. We appreciated the complimentary snacks & coffee available. They also had menus from local restaurants (tho prices were outdated) and other informational pamphlets for local things to do. All the recommendations made it seem like they genuinely wanted you to have a great trip. Everything was very clean and felt homey. Hard to beat the view and we would definitely stay here again.

The view was stunning! The fireworks around Puget Sound on the 4th of July were awesome! The unit was perfect for our time away with family. It was so clean and had everything you could think of - and more. The hosts provided an abundance of towels and supplies. The English muffins, jam and treats were a welcome surprise. I have never had such a well-equipped kitchen and we took advantage of it! The hosts communicated so well with us that we felt confident about the decision we made coming to Seattle during a busy time for the city. Thank you, Ron! Thank you, Barbara! When we come back, we hope your calendar is available!

We had a wonderful stay at the Island View rental. It was clean and just as the pictures represented. Ron communicated ahead of our stay with clear instructions and access. Thank you for the coffee, too! We will be back!

We were in town for a short work trip and loved this property. Location was great, view from back porch excellent, and Ron is a great host.

This is a lovely, well-appointed apartment with a stunning view, in a tranquil neighborhood. It's a peaceful and cozy retreat. There were many thoughtful little touches and extras not all rentals have - including quality stainless steel pans and items for that first morning: coffee, butter, jam, and English muffins. Also an array of little snacks - in case you did not yet get to the nearby grocery stores or restaurants. Ron contacted us well in advance in response to queries, and with clear arrival instructions. He also checked in by text before and during our stay. We know the area and had no other needs, but there was lots of info in the apartment and he would have been happy to help. We had no trouble with the steps down to the apartment from the street, or the designated parking space (maybe don't drive a behemoth). We look forward to a future stay.

Peaceful with a view

Overall, the place was absolutely wonderful. The views of the sound are spectacular, sunsets included. It is a close drive to just about everything in the area, but you don't ever feel like you are in the city. Lovely place to stay!

Beautiful View!

We had a great stay at this beautiful spot! The views were amazing and we enjoyed our coffee and evenings sitting and looking at the natural beauty! It was very quiet and private and close to the airport and the city.

We had an amazing two night stay. The property has breathtaking views of the water, and a very nice lanai from which to admire it. The rental was stocked with nice towels and linens, and they left snacks for us to enjoy. Very clean home and nice, helpful hosts. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting a quiet and peaceful getaway.

Great Experience

Cozy little place as described and the view was better than the pictures showed. Very nice secluded location but still close to conveniences. We spent a lot of time sight seeing and this place was definitely what we needed to come back to relax and rejuvenate for the next day.

This property is wonderful! The view is peaceful and beautiful. We truly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive to our needs. We were greated with sbacks and luxurious robes to top off our stay.Snacks and And we enjoyed the surprise visits from a very friendly cat!

This rental features a beautiful view of Puget Sound and the Olympic mountains. It is in a very quiet residential area, and the owners were very responsive to any issues that arose. This was our second summer to stay here.
