Absolutely loved our stay! This unit is directly on the beach overlooking the ocean and we enjoyed having our coffee on the balcony watching and listening to the ocean. Rod is an excellent host and gave us a personal tour. Hope to be back!

Fantastic stay for a family dive, beach, and golf trip! One of the most well-appointed places we have experienced. Clean and updated baths and kitchen. Plentiful snorkel gear in great condition. Lots of beach towels and washing machine to refresh them. Even a nifty kit with grilling tools and metal skewers in a case. View from the balcony of beach and sunsets are fantastic. Only thing missing is that, due to ironshore and erosion to the north and south, one cannot stroll very far from here along a sandy beach like you can from places north of the tunnel on West Bay Drive.

Host was very responsive and flexible. They left a bunch of goodies that our kids devoured. Also a nice surprise for adults. You cannot beat this location or value. Low crowds by pool and ocean. Amazing neighbors and tons of great food options within walking distance. Lots of nice recommendations by host. Tons of useful items such as sand toys and snorkels. Very spacious and among best value on island. Book with confidence. We highly recommend. A+++

Fantastic stay right on the beach. Rod was there to greet us and show us all the condo amenities.. just a nice guy and host who answered all questions, provided excellent recommendations for jet ski rentals, dining. The condo is lovely, comfortable like home with quality everywhere. Kitchen well set up, rain forest walk in shower in primary suite. Beach gear, towels, coolers, snorkel equipment and more. We wanted for absolutely nothing. Outdoor pool, jacuzzi, beach loungers with a short walk to the protected beach swimming area with no waves. Bravo Rod - we had a great vacation stay and look forward to coming back in 2026!

This is an excellent choice for any beach and water lover. This is my eighth trip to Grand Cayman and was by far the best location right on the beach. The only thing in front of the condo is palms and a coco plum tree. Free use of beach chairs and tables. This is a corner unit with great views of beach, ocean and pool area. The condo was better than any other place I've stayed. All appliances were in great condition, A/C worked great, comfortable king bed, two bathrooms walk in shower in main bath. Many aminaties we didnt expect like stocked bath and kitchen wares. Even has ice chest for daily excursions. Owner lives on island so he is available to show you how everything works an if any issue he can resolve them. We had no issues during our stay. You will love this as much as we did. Alread planning to return next year.

We had the most amazing week at Grandview! The condo is perfectly located with wonderful amenities. Beautiful water views from multiple rooms and a lovely screened in balcony where we ate most of our meals. The kitchen has everything you need! We had a great time playing tennis and just a short walk from the condo was a great Yoga studio. A lovely grocery store was close by and many restaurants were walking distance. Host was wonderful! We’ll be back!

Beautiful view, great location

The location of the condo within the complex is perfect; possibly the best unit available. You can see the ocean, pool, and beautiful sunset all from the unit. The screened in balcony is great for enjoying the outdoors without any mosquitoes or flies. The complex is centrally located on the island. The iron shore may be off putting until you realize how to access and enjoy the incredible snorkeling a few steps away. When we come back, it will definitely be when this unit is available.

We had an excellent time staying in Rod’s place at Grandview Condos. The beachfront location is fantastic. We used all the property amenities including the pool, tennis courts, and generous pool deck with tables, chairs, loungers, and my personal favorite - a hammock between two palms right on the beach. Snorkeling is steps away at the cove. Rod has stocked the unit with everything. We only went grocery shopping once and were fine for a whole week. He has snorkeling gear, tennis and pickleball rackets, beach towels, and anything you need in the kitchen. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, TP, laundry soap, dish soap, etc. He gave us so many helpful tips and recommendations and they all worked out great. This corner unit is particularly great for the view, easy access to beach and pool, and the screened in porch with two open sides instead of one like most of the other units. Several restaurants within walking distance and other activities short taxi rides away. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing week at Rod’s condo! The view from the balcony was spectacular and the condo itself is beautiful and well equipped. The kitchen was very well stocked. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, beach towels, a cooler and some pool noodles were also provided so no need to pack those!Location was great. The beach in front of the condo is rocky but if you walk to the right there is a protected cove with a sandy beach entry. Snorkeling just beyond this cove was fantastic!There are restaurants within walking distance and the grocery store is about a 10-15 minute walk. We ended up renting a car to really explore the island but you could also use taxis to go further.Rod was a fantastic host. He met us at the condo to show us around, drove us to the grocery store and left us a bottle of wine for our first night. He was also very responsive throughout booking and our stay.I would highly recommend Rod’s condo and we are already hoping to return in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Grandest of Grandviews on SMB. It was amazing falling asleep and waking up to the sounds and view of the ocean. Rod was a fantastic host who was very responsive and the condo had all the basics we needed. We didn’t want to leave!

Rest and rejuvenate!

We had a fantastic week at the Grandview! The host…Rod was so communicative throughout the whole process from the time I booked the dates all the way up to and including the week/ day of our arrival. He answered all my questions. Rod met us at the condo to welcome us and tour the condo. You can tell he takes great pride and care of his home. My ultimate goal was to spend quality time with my family and get some much needed rest. I accomplished that and then some… if you are looking for a beautiful and quiet getaway I would absolutely recommend this property. I hope to return someday soon! Thank you Rod for sharing your home with us! We will miss those views for sure!

The condo was perfect for our family of 4 (including our 6.5 yo and almost 3 yo) and we would definitely stay again. However next time we would bring a lot less stuff. Rod thought of anything and everything a family could need to have a comfortable beach vacation. Towels, toys, toiletries, books and more. He even set up both a pack and play and bed rails for our toddler because we weren’t sure which he’d prefer and had baby bath wash for us. He was an excellent host and extremely responsive. He even met us at check in to give a tour and drive my husband to the store since we got in late on Saturday and most grocery stores would be closed on Sunday. The condo was nice (clean and comfortable) and in a good proximity to both the pool and beach as well as within walking distance or a short taxi ride from many restaurants and shops. The shore right outside the condo is beautiful but very rocky. However just a short way down the beach is a protected cove that made for a fun swimming spot (especially for the kids). They also loved the pool. The view from the screened in balcony was amazing and I enjoyed starting my day sitting out there with my cup of coffee in the morning. Our week went too fast and we were sad to go. Thank you Rod for the wonderful week! The kids are already asking when we can go back.

Grandest of the Grands

Could not have been happier with our experience. The host provided everything you could ever need in this unit. It makes it so nice not to have to worry about what all do we need to shop for to make it thru our vacation week. It was all there. Very, very nice. Just a beautiful and relaxing vacation. Beautiful sunset views. Highly recommend it!

Felt so much like home that we didn't want to leave!

It doesn't get any better than sitting on the lovely screened in balcony every morning, sipping coffee, and listening to the waves gently wash onto the beach right in front of you. This condo made our vacation feel like home, but even better! As promised in the description, the view is unbeatable - quiet and serene in the morning, and stunning to watch the sunset in the evening. The condo and the entire complex were absolutely spotless! Beautiful landscaping, immaculate pool and hot tub, and everything you could possibly need in the condo. Located within walking distance to several great places to eat, and also steps away from a beautiful gym that offers very a reasonable visitor membership for the week. We had rented a car, so we took advantage on the on-site parking and never had trouble finding a spot right in front of our unit. We did see people enjoying the beach and the pool, but many times we had the place to ourselves! Rod, the owner of the unit, met us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. The only difficulty was convincing oursleves to leave at the end of the week!

Very relaxing

The property is very nice and relaxing. It has great views, nice beach, pool, and facilities. The unit itself has everything you could need in the kitchen, supplies, lots of towels, and extras like sand toys, tennis and pickleball equipment, and snorkeling equipment. Rod was easy to coordinate with, friendly, and accessible. I would be recommend this place to a friend or family member, which is a lot coming from me!

Wonderful Cayman Holiday

My husband, daughter and I traveled to Grand Cayman for her senior spring break during the week of March 15, 2025. We had a wonderful week, and absolutely loved our stay at The Grandview. This was by far one of the best VRBO experiences we've ever had. Rod's place is absolutely lovely. It is located right on the water, has a lovely beach, great pool (and hot tub), and is in an area of Georgetown close to restaurants as well as the downtown area. It is beautifully updated, warmly decorated and spacious. We loved our week there. The condo complex itself has everything you need -- numerous lounge chairs for the beach and the pool. It also has a tennis court, pickleball court, and grills available. In addition, Rod has all kinds of personal touches that make it so easy for the traveler. From an arrival bottle of wine, snacks, great beach towels, tennis racquets and pickleball paddles, we had everything we needed for the week. Rod also had laundry detergent and extra sunscreen available. It made our trip so easy. Rod was incredibly responsive as we booked our trip, during the days before we arrived, and met us as we arrived to give us a tour of the condo. He provided great recommendations for restaurants and helped us navigate the beach. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend this unit to anyone visiting the Cayman Islands.

Amazing Experience!

What an amazing stay with a wonderful host who met us at the condo and personally went over the everything, making sure we had what we needed. The beach and pool were wonderful - while the beach directly out front is "iron shore", it makes for great snorkeling. 100 yards down the beach is a cove that has great sand and makes for perfect snorkeling and calm water -

Wonderful home base for our family trip

We had a fantastic stay at this condo at Grandview! It was impeccably clean, thoughtfully appointed, and had everything we needed—and more—for a perfect trip to Grand Cayman. The location was ideal, making it easy to walk to restaurants, downtown, and multiple beaches when we didn’t feel like driving. The property is beautiful, with a lovely beach for lounging and a swimming beach right next door, a great pool, and even a pickleball court, which we enjoyed in the evenings.Traveling with our two teenage sons (both 17), we found the condo offered just the right amount of space for everyone to be comfortable and truly relax.Rod, the host, was wonderful—friendly, responsive, and full of great recommendations for dining and activities. It’s clear that he and his family take great care of the condo and genuinely want their guests to have an amazing experience. We’re grateful for the hospitality and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend!
