Cabin was as listed. Clean and well appointed. A little off the beaten track. We were further away from restaurants than expected but we were in no hurry. Disappointed with the management group. We had trouble with the gas fireplace and after several back and forth texts they just stopped communicating. Would have liked to enjoy the fire while playing games or reading but no luck. Disappointed with lack of instructions for amenities. Plenty of signs on what NOT to do but nothing on how the hot tub, fireplace or appliances worked. Also no where to store luggage or hang clothes. Good for a short stay but living out of a suitcase got old. Fixtures were poorly installed. All faults were loose and moved when you turned them on/off. All in all ok for short stay but not sure we would be back. Plenty of others to pick from.

It was Bearadise!

We had a wonderful stay at Almost Bearadise! The cabin is tucked away about 20–25 minutes from the main strip in Pigeon Forge, which made it feel like a peaceful retreat while still being close enough for day trips into town. Directions were clear and easy to follow, and getting into the cabin was a breeze thanks to the provided instructions. While we were surprised to find there was no Wi-Fi because we honesly didnt check when we booked, it turned out to be a nice break from screens. The cabin offered cable, games, movies, and plenty of activities to keep us entertained in the game room upstairs, the peaceful porch views and the hot tub. Cell service was spotty, but that added to the unplugged charm of the trip. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the cabin itself was clean, cozy, and felt like a true home away from home. We had such a relaxing time and would absolutely stay here again!

Disastrous and heartbreaking

We planned on going to the mountains to discuss our future after dating for a year. We booked in advance because of the ammentities and it looked romantic. We stayed 3 nights. Upon arriving we couldn't get the fireplace going, so I called the rep. No one answered after the computer forwarding. I emailed after trying the fireplace for an hour. After bedtime, I checked my emailed and they sent me a how to " YouTube" of how to start the fireplace. I tried it for a couple more hours, but to no avail. I called the rep the next morning and was told that it was fixed 10-25-22, but she would call maintenance and call me back. She never called back. Later that evening another rep emailed me, writing that they knew the fireplace was torn up and they hasn't found anyone to repair it. She apologized that a rep didn't tell us in case we wanted to cancel. She wrote that she would call another maintenance man, but he probably wouldn't be there before we left the cabin. Being night-time we decided to go upstairs and play pool. We tried the overhead light above the pool table but it was torn up. We had another dim light to play by, but only played one time as we couldn't tell the 8 ball from the darker balls... We decided to try to make the best of it after eating and decided to find a good DVD to watch ( as they had about 40 movies). When we opened the cases to the DVD's the movies were missing.. We went on to bed later. The next day, we were totally frustrated with the whole weekend and my girlfriend just slept most of the day and then that night ( I think we both just wanted to get out of there as everything had went wrong.. Finally a maintenance man came and installed a new part ( it only took15 minutes). He told me that the fireplace hasn't worked all season ( beginning Oct 1 through yesterday). We had one night with a fireplace, but like I said my girlfriend just slept. ( I let her down big-time by renting this cabin). We never had our talk about " the future" I emailed the representative explaining that it was negligence that they had so many issues. I never received a reply. It was a very frustrating and distrastrous weekend

After some hiccups, Overall good experience.

Was not super excited to pay a full days price only to not be let in until after 4pm, After the "inspector" was done inspecting and didn't catch the that the entire top floor with entertainment had no power and the spin cycle on the washer didn't work. 😂 I found the breaker box and was able to bring the game room back to life though and the washer wasn't a big deal but should be addressed next "inspection" Place was super clean, smelled good and had all the amenities in good condition if not new. The decorations/ theme are tasteful and well done. Be advised there is no WiFi and cell service is schetchy but it was fun to disconnect. 9/10 experience overall.
