The heart of the home is the expansive great room. Large windows stretch across the room, filling the space with natural light and offering peaceful wooded views that bring the outside in. A beautiful stone fireplace becomes the centerpiece of the room, casting a warm glow as your group gathers on plush seating for movie nights on the 65-inch Smart TV. Just off the great room is the open-concept kitchen and dining area, making it easy to prepare meals while still being part of the conversation. Head upstairs and you’ll find a spacious loft that acts as a second indoor living area, complete with a charming stone fireplace and comfortable seating. Downstairs, the cabin transforms into an indoor entertainment hub with a large, fully outfitted game room. Also conveniently located on this lower level is a laundry area, so you can pack light and stay fresh throughout your stay. Free WiFi is also available throughout the property.

The highlight of the cabin is the massive lower-level game room fully loaded with four arcade machines, a full-size pool table, air hockey, and even a photo area with props for capturing those fun vacation memories. When you’re ready to step outside, the entertainment doesn’t stop. Just beyond the game room, the lower-level back deck features a private hot tub where you can soak under the stars or relax after a long day of adventures. You’ll also find a propane grill on this level, perfect for outdoor cookouts with friends and family. Next to the deck, you’ll discover the outdoor gaming area, designed for casual competition and cozy evenings. Play a few rounds of cornhole or throw darts under the trees, then gather around the propane firepit for storytelling, s’mores, and stargazing. Back inside, the fun continues throughout the cabin. In the living room, gather around the 65-inch Smart TV for movie nights or streaming your favorite shows. The upstairs loft serves as a second living space with its own fireplace, plenty of natural light, and a mix of board games, books, and tic-tac-toe games that kids and adults alike will enjoy. The entertainment options extend beyond the cabin, too. As a guest of Smoky Fox Lodge, you’ll have access to the seasonal community pool at Shagbark Resort. Complimentary starter toiletries, linens/towels, free WiFi, air conditioning, central heat, full-sized washer and dryer. Bears are indigenous to the area and are often seen near or on our properties. Please do not leave food or trash outside.

Kitchen and Outdoor Cooking: The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cookware. We provide a standard coffee maker or a Keurig, so please bring along your preferred grounds or pods.

Regarding the Grill: While we often have a grill available for guest use, we cannot guarantee its availability or condition for every stay. If it is on-site, please note that propane/charcoal is the guest's responsibility. There may be some left over from previous guests, or you can pick some up at a local shop.
