The most disappointing variable of our stay was the slow response time from the property manager. We experienced no hot water in one of the showers and then the lower floor’s air condition was not working. The property obviously needs attention, and we could be more understanding if we had felt we were valued by having a property manager who oversaw the property with a customer service mindset in replying to us within an hour or two vs hours or the next day. It would have been nice to have received a phone call after the second reported issue vs text messaging. Please note our stay was during the week in the course of normal business hours; not a weekend. Also in the property information, it mentioned bugs and how it’s typical and that the property is exterminated. In the upstairs bedrooms, bugs were found in and out of the beds as well as the downstairs bedrooms. I did not report the bug situation because I felt that no hot water and no air condition were more urgent than bugs in the bedrooms. Overall, it was a poor experience considering the overall condition of the home coupled with our poor customer service experience. We are thankful that we did not rent the property for a week.
