Bears Den Tiny Home located in Cove Mountain RV Resort with big views!

  • Bears Den the Tiny Home! It may be only 280 sq ft but it packs all the amenities that you need for your stay in the Smoky Mountains. This Tiny Home has a small fire ring outside with a park grill and a picnic table so you can enjoy the outdoors. Walking straight into the Tiny Home is the kitchen that is fully stocked with all items to eat in if you so desire. To the right of the kitchen is the sitting area with a full size sofa. The bathroom has a stand up shower (no tub). The bedroom has a queen bed with a twin size set of bunks that share the bedroom, perfect for a couple with small children.

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed the cabin. It had everything we needed during our stay. It was an easy 20-25 minute drive to Dollywood. Our favorite part was the view. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful place and location

This was such a clean cozy place with amazing views. Definitely recommend anyone staying here and will be telling friends and family who might be visiting this location to stay here!

Great cabin. Decent location. But dumpster for trash is locked and for RV campers only. They expect you to haul your trash 20 minutes away.

I called the property a day earlier than expected and they happily accommodated us. They called housekeeping and made sure everything was ready for us. And for the price i paid,it was very much worth it. I would recommend this property and I hope to visit this property again.

Cute tiny home, great location

This is a wonderful place to stay to explore the area and avoid pricey and over touristy hotels! We were in town for a wedding and it was perfect for a long weekend trip. The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked with essentials in the kitchen. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed being in Wears Valley. Host was very communicative and the self check in was easy.

The mattress on the bed will have to be replaced. It is just not doable. Could not get a good nights. Sleep needs to be a memory foam mattress or something better than what it was. It is inadequate. Other than that, we really enjoyed it.

Annual Anniversary trip

The tiny home was super clean and in a great location. The mattress was absolutely Horrible. We ended up having to use the bunk beds that were next to the bed. It kind of stunk having to sleep in the bunk beds away from my husband on our anniversary trip. But the tiny home was super clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was great , quiet and located close enough to downtown pigeon forge without being in town. My only issue was the pool, it's a 5minute drive to get there, closes at 6pm, and was closed a whole day for weather even though it only rained a bit before the pool was supposed to open(10am). Everything else was awesome.

Convenient location, it's secluded yet so close to all of the attractions. We always enjoy all of the moonshine places and the Tennessee Shine down the road is great. We had breakfast right down the road at the Shaggy Moose, great food and it was so cute and cozy. We will def stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Adorably cute inside and out. As small as it looks it really was big enough for my husband and I, along with our 2 ten year olds. You really don’t have to bring a thing. Very quiet and peaceful area and close to Smokey Mountains National Park and Pigeon Forge. And if you need something Dollar General is right next door. We have found our new spot that we will be staying at during our yearly family visits. We have even recommended this place to our Friends and Family.

Ok. Bring your own trash bags.

We stayed at the Bear's Den and it was the first time anyone ever stayed in it. It showed. There was very little decoration and the microwave still have styrofoam and plastic on it. The seating outside was only two chairs. They needed more for my family. Because of all the stuff we had to unpack, we asked on July 4th for a trash bag from the office. We were told that we needed to bring our own and it was in the contract. I went back and asked again because everything was closed near us and we really needed a trash bag. The girl at the desk gave me a hard time, but did give me an extra one and acted like it was a huge deal. Next time, we will stay in a bigger one with more outside seating and we will bring our own trash bags, because God forbid, we ask the office for one.

Just a place to crash, don’t expect much.

It was further out from Pigeon Forge than we wanted. 15 miles here, is a 35-50 minute drive. There’s zero privacy, none of the accordion doors work, cob webs and dirty fans, only one person can watch tv at a time, the sofa is the only comfortable seating, and the tv is over the sofa. We alternated sleeping on the sofa cause the beds were miserable! For these prices, buying even a 200 Linen Spa once a year would be fantastic. My elbows got hung in the springs while trying to roll over in the full, my husband kept getting his arms hung up in the fan cord thats mounted to the wall, so we flipped around and slept backwards, except every time someone went potty the tp roller sounded like someone ran into the cabin and your in for a shocking and rude awakening. Theres no pool, or playground on property, they acted like its no big deal to drive two miles down the road to swim, like anyone wants to vaca in a wet car seat… this establishment comes off very corporate, its not even a little thought out. We had to go buy chairs to sit outside, only two are provided, the coffee table/chair situation was horrifically uncomfortable! A perfect example is one towel rod, one, one sad, falling off the wall towel rod, 4 adults, 8 towels, 1/2 a towel rod. I hang mine in the closet on hangers. Theres plenty of space for extras that would make it a functional place to stay, but again seems very corporate. Like no one that owns it has ever stayed in it. It has potential.

Could have been cleaned a little better in my opinion

• Such an adorable place to stay! • We thought it was the perfect location because it wasn’t busy to get in and out • The neighborhood was very peaceful! • The air conditioning was amazing and stayed very cool the whole time. • Provided all the things that you will need (towels, soap, wash rags, silverware, dishes, toaster and grill outside!) • The bedding was nice and clean. And so was the sofa. • A big plus was that they had the channel that plays Bluey which is my sons favorite show! He loved it! • keep in mind that it is a tiny house so the hot water heater is smaller than a normal house so you can’t take to long of showers. (This was not a problem for us because we take fast showers) • the only complaint we had was that the first shows we took the water wasn’t draining fast and we were working it would over flow but luckily it was draining perfectly the next shower. And another thing was that it could’ve been cleaned a little better there was a stream of pee left running down the front of the toilet and there was also lots of cobwebs and dust in the corners. It seemed as if they didn’t clean the faucet to the sink in the bathroom because it look like it had toothpaste spots all over it, just wish and expect it to be a little cleaner that in was. • Over all we really enjoyed our stay!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin has pros & cons, like everywhere else. My husband & I stayed here. My husband is not super tall, but he barely fit in the bed. The bed was not that comfy to cram 2 people into. The cookware was not very clean due to the people before us didn’t wash them well-no dishwasher. The rest of the cabin was very clean! Not really any storage space, it really is a tiny place (280 sq ft). The front door doesn’t seal great, so a little drafty. Coffee pot only holds 5 cups, not enough for 2 people if you are avid coffee drinkers. One big thing is no towel racks in bathroom, only a small wood “hook” that not even a hand towel would stay on, slips right off. No counter space at all in bathroom, no place to put anything while you shower.This is an RV resort. There was someone in an RV directly behind us and we couldn’t open any windows because of the smell from their septic. It depends on your needs: If you only need a place to shower & sleep, this is perfect. If you plan on spending any time in the cabin, it’s not really conducive to much. Check in and out was super easy. The company answered all my questions in a timely manner before we arrived. It has a beautiful Mountain View!! Would I recommend this? It all just depends on what you’re looking for.
