I think we could have overlook the shortcomings if it weren’t for completely missing the mark on the basics. Even low budget hotels have a coffee service offered. Don’t expect that with this rental. Stayed 4 nights but were given 2 whole trash bags and 2 things of soap for the dishwasher. The towels were poor quality and no extra blankets to be found. Luckily we didn’t need to use the sofa bed or futon so beware if you do, you’ll only have a sheet for either of those. The upstairs king bathroom had mold growing above the shower. Don’t expect any place to hold your luggage since no luggage racks or dressers. Had one hanger included. Jacuzzi had no operating instructions nor extra towels. The bbq grill’s igniter switch was broken and no matches to be found.

everything was clean, beds were comfortable and the view was great! we even saw a bear and her 2 cubs as soon as we pulled in the driveway for the first time lol! which honestly made our trip. didn’t even unload the car yet. would definitely stay here again!

Was not able to check in at 4. Cleaning ppl still there. Liked it was a gated community. Cabin was nice and i would book again but too many cobwebs outside around living area, snake shedded by hot tub, BBQ pit on porch has a full bottle thats nice but being u cant use it makes sense why bottle is full, so had to change plans for dinner since grill didnt work, unable to get a view with dirty windows, went to relax in jacuzzi tub, sounds like it needs attention so that was canceled and just showered insteaded, lower level door open but extremely difficult to close so could not enjoy that area, lower level stayed too cold. Upon arriving on initial day waiting for house keeping to leave, didnt smell as if anything was clean. No cleaning smell on floor, bathroom or kitchen. Just a nasty muggy smell.

Mississippi Mockingbird

We had to wait 45 minutes after the 4:00 pm time on the person cleaning the house. The house is listed for sale and I believe that the property is not being cared for as well. There was some black mold in the showers downstairs, a hole in a bedroom wall downstairs that looked like it was tried to be covered with burlap, neither grill was in condition for us to use, plate off of electrical box on upper deck, the driveway should not be advertised as 3 vehicles. We could only back in and this driveway is very steep for backing especially at night. The regular coffee maker does not work luckily the Keurig did but had to go buy pods because I had brought for other. House should have two separate heat and air units because if you were comfortable upstairs, downstairs was like the artic.

Great view!

Great place to stay! parking is a bit tricky but nothing crazy. House is very nice but the water pressure was a bit weak if you run the washer & showers. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want a great place with a great view.

Momma Bear

We had a great time. My husband and a couple of his friends rented the cabin with our kids. We were able to easily drive to Gatlinburg one day and pigeon forge the other days. We got grub hub delivered one night. The coolest thing ever also kinda scary was a momma bear and 3 little bear cubs were in the backyard. The cubs climbed a tree right outside the deck area and the momma sat around the tree watching. Only tiny thing i didn't like was the swimming pool hours are when we were always out doing stuff. I wish it stayed open later because we would get back to the cabin hot and tired and wishing we could swim and the pool closed at 6. Would've been nice if it stayed open until 10. There was a private hot tub though so that was nice. Overall I would recommend staying here.

Mockingbird

The cabin was absolutely amazing, exclamation, very clean, very spacious, and plenty of room for all the guests to spread out. Views were absolutely amazing and location is perfect. The porch swing on the basement did break when my girlfriend and I went to sit on it. Not having immediate instructions on how to lock the front door and having an access code to the security gate was a little inconvenient but we made a quick call to the property management company and they gave us the information I needed. I would definitely recommend this place and have plans on returning back next year .

Wonderful property

Everything was just as described. My only feedback would be to make sure travellers have the Vacasa app. I booked through VRBO, but could not get any extra info (like the drive through gate code!) without the Vacasa app, and I didn't know that.

Beautiful views

Home is beautiful and so are the views. But dealing with Vacasa was terrible! Charged a huge fee and were not nice. When called to ask a question, they told us there were no plates, bowls, silverware, hairdryer or anything available at the home. Everything was in the home and nothing like they had said. They are awful, unfriendly and unpersonal.

Pigeon Forge

The view was beautiful. The pool table Foose ball table, and video game was a hit with all. The hot tub was popular. The kitchen was a little disappointing when trying to cook for 12. It needed a few bigger pots and serving bowls. They also need to add more flatware and a few more cooking utensils. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Get quiet getaway

My wife and I went to property to get away from life for awhile, and this was perfect. The view is stunning. We also felt very safe in this gated community.

1st bad experience, way over priced.

AC didn’t work properly and wasn’t addressed for four days. There was a major bug problem on the lower floor that was never addressed and called in three times. This left two bedrooms and the game room unusable for the full week. The showers are 3x3 fiberglass stalls that would be found in a mobile home. Two gorgeous large jetted tubs were there but the water heater can’t produce enough hot water to allow someone to use them. The house also says that there are three parking spaces. The only way to use it is to back up a steep slope in reverse unless you are willing to do at least a 5-7 point turn. The house generally looks nice but once there you can see the lack of maintenance. The decks and railing need repair. The hardwood floors need refinishing. The first thing you see when you pull up to the front door are the flower beds and even they are loaded with weeds. I have been renting property from VRBO for a long time and hope these issues are being addressed as I have asked for a refund on the stay.

Good with Exceptions

Overall the view and cabin itself are great. However, a combination of vacuuming up dozens of millipedes daily, feeling the cabin wasn’t the cleanest , and condition of some of the appliances, we thought it should be better for the price we paid. I would likely not rent again.

A wonderful view!

Great location for a peaceful getaway! Loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom. A few glitches…cabin had not been cleaned when we arrived at 4:00. I called and the rep apologized and said she would send the crew ASAP. A few minutes later, she called me back to explain the cabin hadn’t been cleaned because it was only 3:00 and we were early. After a few back-and-forth comments, I figured out that she thought eastern TN was in the Central Time Zone! The cleaning crew arrived around 4:30 and did a nice job. On day 3, the air conditioner quit, but a call to customer service had a maintenance person there in an hour or less. He was able to fix the issue. Again, it’s an awesome cabin for a relaxing getaway! The drive away is steep and there is not a lot of room to turn around, which we handled by backing down most of the time.

House hunting

Views fabulous and it was clean. We enjoyed it very much. We do like to watch a movie after a long day but the TVs were a problem. I would suggest instructions for use. We didn’t use anything else - we were busy with house hunting. Overall great experience.
