Dudley II

Everything was great!!! Cabin is as listed with an extra bonus…..downstairs had a game room with a foosball table and ping pong!!! Loved the stay and the location was great too near Gatlinburg and grocery stores/restaurants. Would definitely be back!!!

Loved it

Quiet area with beautiful fall colors. You don't get a mountain view however its in a good area and 10 mins away from Gatlinburg, and 15mins from PF. The property managers were very responsive and answered within 5 mins of a text. A few things were wrong at the cabin, we had to use the fireplace a lot since there was a strong burning smell coming from the furnace (why we texted the property managers), the washers agitator didn't work so I had to ring out all the clothes by hand, and the hot tube made our daughter sick.(the works) We should have known better bc hello its a hot tube used by who knows, but she was so happy to "swim" in the hot tube. We loved the down stairs kids area which was very unexpected and the overall cabin is perfect for a small family or two couples.

Clean and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and comfortable. Good location. We saw 2 bears playing around outside our the cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub and we will hopefully be back to rent again.

Cabin getaway

We enjoyed staying in the cabin for the week. We would recommend this cabin for others to vacation in the smokys. We do wish we had another dresser in the upstairs bedroom, but the space was great. We wished there was a welcome booklet with some pamphlets of the area, but it was easy to google some fun things in the area. The cabin was stocked with the basic necessary kitchen items. We were able to cook breakfast in the morning and went out for lunch and dinner. We were scared about the door locking at 10pm for security and we were u aware of this! It was no problem to message them and the owners let us know right away it was a security thing.

Perfect!

We absolutely loved this cabin. I am a type A neat freak and we really couldn’t get over how clean everything was. The cabin had fun games for our toddler, all the items we needed, the shower was great and loved the hot tub too. It felt like a homey, clean and modern cabin. The location was also perfect to easily get to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but still had stuff around to do that was close in the arts and crafts village. I don’t typically go back to the same place but I would go back here to stay! Only minor suggestions would be to secure the bedroom carpet. It shifted quite a bit when walking on it, especially with a toddler running around. Also the mattress was not awful. It seems newer, but could be better (very soft so you sink in).

Perfect area

Cleanest cabin I've ever stayed in! Very well kept property. Kitchen was missing a can opener but it was more than equipped with everything else one would need while staying there. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Higher Expectations

My wife and I booked this cabin for a week-long stay for our 10-year anniversary. We were excited to find a place that seemed modern and without the cliche plaid curtains, black bear decor, and heart-shaped hot tub. However, when we arrived, we discovered that the power had been out for the last two days and had just been turned on within the last few hours. There was a large puddle of water under the freezer door, and the freezer itself was warm. This wouldn't have been a big deal if we had been notified earlier, but I had to report the issue to find out why. Another thing we loved about this place was that it was pet-friendly. We wanted to bring our dog along for the trip (even though they aren't allowed on pretty much any trail in the park). However, not long after we arrived, we discovered multiple pet stains in the cabin. There were several on the rug in the upstairs bedroom and one on the downstairs bed. It appeared as though the cleaning crew didn't even change the sheets, and the stain was soaked down to the mattress cover. My wife immediately pulled everything and started washing it while I texted AvantStay. I finally got a response from them at 11:30 pm. To their defense, they did refund the first night of our stay. Other than that, the location was decent. It wasn't too far away from downtown Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge area. The hot tub was great, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the fireplace was nice.

Our stay at the Dudley II

My husband and I recently spent a lovely long weekend at this property. The setting was very peaceful, and we had amazing views from the screened in deck/hot tub. The cabin was beautiful, cozy and comfortable. The downstairs area had a ping-pong table and foosball table for some added fun. We definitely recommend this location if you are looking for a great rental cabin near Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge!

40th Birthday Retreat

It was a bit of a tight drive but well worth it. The property was awesome. My neice and nephew loved it so much. It’s her favorite place and the first time we’ve not stayed at a resort and it was just amazing. Everything was clean, well stocked kitchen, and the only problem was the main floor bathroom door had a hard latching or locking. Nothing major at all. Would happily stay again at that property or any of their properties

Enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and very nice. I only have a few things I was disappointed in. First the bathroom is really dark. Sink in bath emptied really slow Last, both doors going outside had huge gaps under the doors letting the cold in. Saying all of these things aren't really a huge deal braker I would definetly stay again.

Met my expectations

Very clean, had all the necessities needed. We did not get to use the hot tub because, I could not get the water hot but, Cabin was very accommodating and we did not miss out on enjoying ourselves. Weather was rainy and cold each day so we mostly stayed at the cabin. Responded in a timely fashion to any question I had.

Perfect cabin getaway

Property manager was great and responded quickly to us when we had questions. Cabin is up on a hill and we got there at night so was hard to see what driveway to go up but everything was great otherwise. Would stay here again!

WONDERFUL cabin minutes from Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mtns Nat’l Park

This was our first visit to the area and before I booked I reached out to AvantStay with some questions and they were quickly and thoroughly answered. That was just the beginning of our exceptional experience. The cabin was wonderful, everything inside completely updated, clean and as pictured/described. The kitchen was stocked as needed, plus extras of paper supplies, and plenty of towels, extra blankets and pillows. We were welcomed with a lovely gift-basket of treats/drinks and an ample supply of coffee and tea for our whole stay! We found the accommodations very comfortable and loved the fireplace and hot tub. There was a 2 day cold snap during our visit so the coziness of the cabin was fantastic. Our 15 yo daughter joined us on the trip and loved the privacy of her own area upstairs. While the cabin isn’t huge, we all had plenty of space. It is located near three other cabins, but we felt very secluded and honestly never heard or saw anyone else. For those visiting the area for the first time, be prepared for traffic around Gatlinburg and the National Park. The cabin is distance wise very close, but being the busy autumn season we did run into some traffic slowdowns on the parkway. We also drove to Asheville, NC one day and that was only about an 1:20 drive. I highly recommend the cabin and would definitely stay again! Thank you AvantStay for the excellent communication and hospitality!
