Cabin is clean, spacious and exactly as described. I appreciated the fenced yard for our dogs, who loved their time here. The location is great if you're looking for convenience but want to feel like you're "getting away"-- everything you need like gas, coffee, restaurants--are all within minutes; Pigeon Forge is about 20 min or so drive. Matthew was a very responsive host, checking in on us the first day and always available for questions, if needed. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, clean cabin, nice quiet street. Our dogs loved the fenced in back yard, we loved the screened in front porch. Check in was easy and we were messaged by the owner to check on how everything was going. We will definitely look into staying here again next time we vacation in this area

We only got to stay for a long weekend but we definitely want to go back! My husband and I brought our 2 dogs and though we were there on business we really would like to go back for fun. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The fenced yard is great for dogs. It’s big enough to play ball with the dogs and was nice and clean also. Just an overall perfect place!

We took an impromptu trip to Townsend and stumbled upon this absolute gem of a cabin via VRBO—what a find! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt incredibly spacious. Every room had thoughtful touches, but the beds were truly next level—so comfortable that my daughter even asked what brand the mattress was!The screened-in porch quickly became our favorite hangout spot. Despite the unseasonably warm weather (87 degrees!), it stayed comfortable and relaxing—perfect for morning coffee, evening chats, and everything in between.We had a minor issue with the air conditioning, but the owners were fantastic. They responded quickly and had someone out to fix it in no time. They were so easy to work with and clearly care about their guests’ experience.One of the best parts? It was just as enjoyable for our doodle! The fenced-in area gave her space to run and play safely, and it gave us peace of mind knowing she was having as much fun as we were.This cabin felt like a home away from home, and we’re already dreaming of coming back. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect property during our trip to Tennessee. We’ve always enjoyed Sevierville and wanted to bring along our pup. The yard was absolutely perfected, fully fenced in, and quite large. Pretty easy commute, the roads are pretty flat in the neighborhood. Nice view of mountains across the way. Thank you to our hosts for always checking in, and having everything we needed in the kitchen. Can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I travel every year to Tennessee, the cabin was close to all of the attractions and Cades Cove.We have 2 dogs a French bulldog and a Australian Shepherd and they LOVED the fenced in yard!My Aussie didn't want to come in, especially after it snowed!The cabin was very well maintained, and had all of the essentials we needed for our stay!The Owner wrote and asked if we needed anything just let him know!We will definitely be returning to this cabin when we go to Tennessee next year!We stayed for 5 days and wish we could have stayed longer!Thank you so much for the wonderful time in your cabin!

This is our fourth or fifth time staying at this property and it's always a great stay! Our dog loves the yard the human family members love the game rooms, easy to drive to location and ample space!

We have been coming to the mountains once or twice per year for many years. We have stayed in Gatlinburg, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Townsend and never in the same rental home. This is the first time my wife has said she would like to rent the same home the next time we visit. The yard was totally fenced in the back making it safe for our dog who marked and ran for multiple bumpers I threw. It was great being able to let her out without putting her on a leash. The house was immaculate and very comfortable; everything worked as it should. The internet connection was plenty fast and there were TV's in every room. The accommodations were very comfortable. The location was great for us, halfway between Townsend and Sevierville. The hosts Mathew and Sara answered all our questions before arriving and kept in touch with us while we were visiting in their home. My only hesitation about giving them 5 stars is that it may make it harder for us to rent the house again if too many visitors find this "gem."

We LOVED this property and would definitely stay again! Enjoyed fishing in the pond that was within walking distance. The outdoor space was perfect, and the yard was huge (enjoyed the privacy of the property). We celebrated my son's birthday while there. Plenty of room indoors and outdoors to eat. Thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit. Thank you!!!

We were in town for my work and only able to stay one day at this fabulous getaway! We loved the hot tub! It was quiet and peaceful! Clean and comfortable! Close to amenities. Loved all the nature. We would definitely return! Our hosts were very helpful and made everything easy.

We stayed from Sunday night until Friday morning. It had the perfect amount of space for my fiancé and I, our two sons, my mom & our dog. We loved the screened in front porch and got tons of use out of it. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing. We didn't realize the pool was open to community so it was busy at times but we was able to enjoy it for a few times. It is a really nice pool just has times of being busier and more packed. We used the fire pit and it was really nice! This cabin feels like home, with all of the special touches and makes you want to stay forever. The only complaint would be if multiple people are showering the water would get cold fast. I'm pleased with how easy it was to communicate with the host and even though we had a small issue with a repair needing to be done during our stay our host communicated through it and made our stay smooth.

Everything about the description of cabin and property was exactly as described. As we pulled in we were in awe with the gorgeous property and surrounding areas. I don’t know who was more excited with the fenced area, us or our dogs! The cabin interior was beautifully decorated and cozy throughout! There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 children. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of extra bedding. We spent most of our time enjoying the cabin and outdoors and only adventured out a couple times. We were too busy sitting on the deck, screened in front porch, playing with the dogs, shooting some pool, playing cards, sitting in a clean and refreshing hot tub and sitting by the fire pit making s’mores and looking at the stars! We even got a pretty good late night show each night from the Synchronous Fireflies each night. Plenty of exterior seating on the deck and fire pit area. The Owners were great! Although we did not get to meet Mathew in person we were able to speak with him. Within an 1/2 hr of arriving I contacted him to see if we could stay another night. Unfortunately it was already rented. Very close to the Smokies, Coves Cave, tubing and waterfalls. It’s close to Pigeon Forge however we were more into enjoying the outdoors than the attractions! I along with my mom, boyfriend, and Shihpoo stayed at Golden Oaks. We had a fantastic stay, and even got to see a big momma bear and her cub cross the road while walking my dog! So much to do nearby! We will definitely stay at Golden Oaks in the future.

We picked this vacation rental based on reviews and the fenced area for our Italian Greyhounds. They loved being able to race at full speed and burn off some of their pent up energy. Very hard to find this type of outlet for them in a vacation rental. The house was clean and furniture reasonably comfortable. The bed was comfortable as well. We really enjoyed relaxing on the screened porch area in the early morning and late afternoon. The house was easy to get to without having to navigate the treacherous roads that many rentals have in this area. We have rented more than a dozen rentals in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area over the past 2 decades and Golden Oaks would definitely rank near the top of our list. The local pool and snack bar/deli would be a great spot for families with kids to enjoy. We had a good time, would recommend the rental to others, and will possible visut Golden Oaks again.

Our family loved it! The screened-in porch was amazing, and our dog loved to watch the geese and squirrels! We all enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit on the cool spring nights. The back yard is awesome too. You can’t beat the location as it’s a perfect distance between Pigeon Forge and the quieter Townsend. Just minutes from the National Park and Metcalf Bottoms picnic area. We will definitely be back!!
